Nice and homey.

Had not been here before but am glad we went. Dinner in a home like atmosphere was pleasant compared to the ultra hip places we also go on the island. I doubt you could go wrong with anything on the menu. They have a cajun/creole starting point (with a twist) for their choices and I like that.

We were excited to try this restaurant because of the positive reviews, the local fare and the claim that it had vegetarian options. The owner was polite in his greeting us, the outdoor patio was closed, we had no reservation, only one other table had patrons and he was happy to seat us. The only choice for me was a... More

Owner, Ray, was a delightful host who gave us some wonderful recommendations. Alicia's Fish Soup is a must try and I am still dreaming of the yummy corn crepe - how did they ever make veggies taste that good!

If you want authentic Aruban food - go to Gasparito. The food is all authentically prepared with only 15 dinners served nightly. It's worth the visit! Delicious!

Visited this wonderful restaurant with a group of siblings, spouses and our cousin at the recommendation of our cousins who had been here in the past. This little place became a quick favorite of ours. It is quaint, homey, and comfortable. We all ordered appetizers and main courses...often ordering Arubian food. The food was scrumptious and worth the wait of cook... More

You cannot believe this. Aruban home cooking, unbelievable taste, unbelievable location and service. We eat at Ritz-Carlton Les Crustaces, Mariot Stellaris Simply Fish, White Modern and other high places, and we loved them all. High end everything, super taste, with prices not for the faint of heart. But this Gasparito really holds its own, and then some. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.... More

The Gasparito chicken was excellent. The owner was a wonderful host. I hope this restaurant remains open; it is an Aruban jewel. We visited here our first night and it did not disappoint.

It has been a few years since my wife and I have been to Gasparito. Now it is sad to see that the owners (father and son) have downsized and we were the only ones there for dinner. The food was as we remembered it- authentic and delicious. My wife had Shrimp Coco and I had a combination plate. Both... More

after reading the reviews we were expecting to be blown away. The food was good but nothing to write home about. It was a fast meal appetizer, salad and entree and we were out in a little over an hour. The owner was nice and nothing was wrong with our meal but it was not as good as people wrote... More
