coming to the Dead Sea, you don't want to miss this gem. It truly was spice among the salt of the surrounding sea, in more ways than one. The food was absolutely delicious. The shashouka is a must, as is pleases your palate with just right combination of flavors and a hint of heat, with smoky spice. That was just... More

Probably one of the worst restaurants I've been in Israel. The service was o.k but the food was awful!! I cannot understand how this spot (the Dead Sea) doesn't have more restaurants or touristic places. Shame on Israel for neglecting this unique place. Message to restaurant owner - you have a beautiful authentic place - improve your food!! don't disrespect... More

Food is nice, some dishes are a bit over spicy. Service is slow - 25min an order slow. Go there if you are in no hurry.

Visit this restaurant for a nice alternative to the higher priced meals at local hotels. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and good food.

First, I have no idea why previous reviewers found this place so difficult to find. Yes, it's up on a small hill, behind a shopping center. But there's nothing scary or intimidating about the short gravel road to this fun & special place. And you can't really miss it either -- there are signs and eventually you see a large,... More

What a dump! Dirty. Lousy service. Workers sit around and mock the drunken customers. Don't bother. I wouldn't eat there. Drink from the bottle because the glasses don't look clean.

We searched for a nice place, and got the impression that we found one but - the atmosphere that was calm and ease as we got in, changed in a second when one of the waiters liked the tune on the play list, and increased the music volume to a level that we couldn't have a talk. Than the food... More

Bedouin style tent, with pillows on the floor ( don't worry there are a couple of tables and chairs for the less adventuress), great atmosphere. My friends and I hung out for about five hours including drinks, dinner, some belly dancing (us and a woman we enlisted from the next table) and a huka. The service is so so but... More

We celebrated my son's Bar Mitzvah in Taj Mahal in April 2014. It was AWESOME!!! Everyone (we had 35 people) loved it there. The location and the view are amazing. The food is delicious! Sharon, the owner is so welcoming and accommodating. The price is great!!! I can't say enough! In addition, Sharon arranged the entertainment -- a drummer circle... More
