Excellent Bedouin tent style restaurant

The food was reasonable to good. There are free salads with the main courses and the meat 8s cooked from fresh. The humous had some lamb and onion in it amd it was absolutely delicious. The pickles were too salty and we avoided some of the salads.

Taj Mahal is a great cafe-bar & restaurant set inside a Bedouin tent. Good place to sit and eat nice food. The food was absolutely delicious. The shakshuka is a must, as is pleases your palate with just right combination of flavors and a hint of heat, with smoky spice.

Eating in a beduien tent, option to sit on mattress at floor level very fun. Authentic middle eastern food. Barbeque meat lots of salads. The service was good and fast very accommodating. In the dead Sea there is not much to do this is a good place to have a good experience

Beautiful, comfortable seating. Amazing service. The hookah? FANTASTIC. Falafel? Mmmmm! Fresh baked pita, homemade hummus. Just delicious. The chef even came out to ask how the food was, as if he wanted to hone his already beautiful craft. Just wonderful. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu. I know good food.

We happened on Taj Mahal by chance when looking for dinner. The place itself is styled after a Bedouin tent but has a variety of seating arrangements, pillows-on-floor, tables-and-chairs and camp benches style. Taj Mahal claims to "bring the Sinai Desert experience to the dead sea" and it sort of delivers. Strangely, this place is one of the only restaurants... More

We really enjoyed both our meals at the Taj. The hummus was incredible and the shawarma was yummy. It provided a welcome cool break from the scorching sun and would definitely go back.
