very nice place with good food!

There are not much really nice restaurants in Ein Bokek, but this sure is one! Really nice atmosphere, nice personnel. Good old style Israeli oriental food (falafel, hummus, shoarma, shakshuka, merguez and so on)

Excellent food. The setting of the Bedouin experience was a true enjoyable one. Food was as fresh as it gets. The servings were high in value as well. Great ambience even with cats running in an out. Price were very good as well. Cannot be anymore high in regard of this

There are not many restaurants in Ein Bokek, outside of the hotels. The other ones are mostly simple cafe style or very basic. And in the hotels it is usually very expensive, or totally without atmosphere, and sometimes both. This is really a nice place, and I suppose it is even nicer in high season. Now it was very empty,... More

After spending s fortune at the ein gedi hotel the night before for a pretty meh meal, we were pleasantly surprised by Taj Mahal. Yes, it's smack dab in the middle of a touristy locale. But our experience, unlike some other reviewers, was very positive. We were prepared for kitsch, and yes, it's kitschy. But in a fun way. My... More

We went here because my cousin had been before on previous trips to Israel. It was his favorite restaurant in the Salt Sea area and it was TERRIBLE. He even admitted that it had gone south in quality. The dishes were EXTREMELY dirty...all of them. Even after asking for new ones. The meat was VERY POOR quality. The service was... More

Tasty food, freshly prepared. Good/attentive service. Some might find the decor a bit "kitchy", simulating a bedouin tent experience, but we thought it was whimsical. Good place to eat dinner and then go across the street to the shops -- ice cream, souvenirs, etc.

Ein Bokek, the hotel strip at the Dead Sea, is hotel after hotel, each, or most, with an overpriced buffet or an overpriced sterile restaurant. My friend and I wanted someplace real. After some prodding we were told about the Taj Mahal. It sounded Indian and was described as Arabic, which worried me as I get very ill from Cilantro... More

If such kind of place will be opened in Tel Aviv, it would be shut down after one day. Meat quality is poor and full of oil. Othet meals are overpriced and disgusting.

Warm and wonderful service. Great pleasant atmosphere with a middle eastern vibe. We loved it. Falafel and humus were outstanding. Meat was good too
