There are so many flavor choices, you will want to go back and back again. The quality is outstanding. I would write more, but I am drooling just thinking about the place.

We were there on Sunday 9/14 and the one girl working there (I think her name might have been Alisha) was extremely rude. There are too many good ice cream shops in the little town of Watkins Glenn for anyone to have to put up with such a bad attitude.

If your an ice cream lover, and are wanting real custard this is the place to go. NO ice milk here. Homemade custard the way it used to be, and the serving sizes are correct, a large is truly a large. Worth the trip if your in the area. They also have a great selection of hard ice cream, along... The owner makes the waffle cones on site. She has a good variety of flavor, although my favorites, chocolate almond or rocky road were not on the list of options. I made due with chocolate on a waffle cone. The cone was as good as it smelled. My husband had the pretzel cone. I did not like it. It does... More

I could have eaten here for every meal every day of the weekend we were in Watkins Glen. Soft serve ice cream is the one thing I really miss since becoming vegan, and this place has it. And it's delicious! My husband had a vegan peanut butter cookie ice cream sandwich and said it was really good, too. They also... More

Very cute little place. Amazed at all the flavored of ice cream flavors. Lots of locally made, unique delicious ice creams. Very nice owners, family owned. Great place to go for a "Doggy Sunday". Very dog friendly although like any nice establishment, dogs are not allowed inside. Only at the outside patio table. Definitely will return.

Homemade gelato and ice cream? What's not to like? You cant' miss the bright yellow building just south of the gorge, at 12th Street. You can also sit outside to enjoy your treat and watch all the cars go by. Fun place and tasty treats!

We stopped at The Great Escape Ice Cream Parlor after a terrific hamburger at Maria's Tavern in Watkins Glen recently. As small as Maria's appears on the street, Great Escape marks its territory in a large, very yellow way. We couldn't miss it and we didn't want to miss it! Basing its business on Hershey's Ice Cream, Great Escape offered... More
