We overheard someone on the bus at the state park suggesting the Rooster Fish, so we decided to try it. We were not sorry. The food was good. I had a appetizer for my dinner since I was not real hungry and it was fantastic. Scallops, can't go wrong with these!

(This is the same restaurant as Wildflower Café- just different atmosphere) We came for dinner with our family of six (kids ages 4-12) and had a delicious dinner. Beef was organic grass fed (burger was tender & delicious), onion ring straws were addictive, and the chicken tenders the kids ordered looked hand battered & homemade. I even think the mayo... More

The place was great! The food was of a high quality and the beer was delicious. A lot of the items on the menu are made with local and organic ingredients. The price was very reasonable as well. The next time we go to the Watkins Glen area we will be back!

Stopped in here for lunch while going through town, thanks to TA reviews! Super variety in menu. We had salads and sat in the open-air seats. Good beer selections. All wines are local; excellent Riesling! We'd definitely stop in again, even though the initial service was a bit slow.

We stopped for lunch after a nice drive in the Fingers Lake area. What a BIG mistake! I am trying to be as objective as possible about this place but my wife and I have nothing good to say. The dining area is located in the rear of the place (back of the bar) in a very dimly lit drab... More

A very nice pub on the main street. Good choice of beers, and good selection on the menus. It's a very popular spot.

As a novice beer drinker, I'm never sure what I will like in a pint. Rooster Fish had flights which made it so much easier to experience a variety and choose the best option (for me, the blonde!). Each of us had great food, but my Cubano sandwich tasted wonderful. Well spiced meat, a bit of a bite, balanced by... More

We enjoyed a fantastic Saturday night here at the bar. Live music, plenty of very good craft beer, lots of singing and socializing ... a good ol' place to be.

We stopped for a well-earned beer (or two) after hiking the Watkins Glen Gorge. A fun pub atmosphere. I enjoyed the Firehouse Blonde on tap.

It was easy to enjoy a casual dinner here with local wine and a creative menu of pub-style fare and full dinners. Fontina cheese dip with fresh herbs served with their malt bread and Granny Smith apples- unique and delicious. We also had steak tacos and a grilled chicken BLT. The BEST bacon we've ever had...anywhere! Service was attentive, friendly... More
