Did the tasting and the guy wasn't very friendly. In fact, he was downright rude. He wouldn't even rinse my glass in-between tastings. He never said thank you after I purchased two bottles of wine. Besides my husband and I were the only people in the place and he acted very put out to have to do anything.

Hi there Leora! We apologize that you had a negative experience with our tasting room associate when you visited! It's general policy that we rise out tasting glasses when transitioning from white wines to red wines, so we'll make sure to reiterate that policy to our associate. If you do desire to get your glass rinsed between each tasting and... More

Hi mszymcik! Thanks for taking the time to write a review and we're happy you had a great time! You're right about the competition being so stiff, the finger lakes area is such a wonderful winery hub! But we're constantly working to improve our wines every year, so hopefully the next time you come around, we'll be even better than... More

Apparently it is under new ownership since October 2013. I learned this when the server refused to take a restaurant-specific restaurant.com certificate I purchased in May 2014. (FYI, I was able to get an exchange on the restaurant.com site). The lunch menu was limited especially in terms of German-style offerings compared to what it used to be and listed only... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our restaurant DT25! I'm so sorry that your experience wasn't quite like how it used to be, but it's true, we're undergoing a lot of new changes now and were finally able to start making head way only just recently. We officially removed ourselves from the restaurant website in June 2014, but I'm... More

We took my in-laws here because they love this place. It was a beautiful Monday and we went for lunch. Although the menu only listed sandwiches and salads, we noticed a couple having a fondue as we were being seated. My wife and I ordered the fondue and a salad to share. The fondue was excellent and all four of... More

I hear great things about their German food, but I can't say I was impressed with their wines. Average wines but a nice atmosphere in the restaurant (if you can afford it).

We visited on a Saturday for lunch and took advantage of the days specials. Food was very tasty and exquisitely prepared. I had their meat strudel with mushroom sauce and it was wonderful. Portions were small but adequate for lunch. We each had a glass of one of their white wines, which were very good too. They have a lovely... More

We used to go there at least 6-8 times a year-the last time we visited we were greatly disappointed-The wait staff said that we could sit on the terrace (Which we love) and then said NO as the weather seemed inclement to her. She then gave us a nice table with a view of the lake and then promptly moved... More
