Great history for people with auto-racing sickness

This is an "old-school" rustic resort, and we really enjoyed it. The bar is a great place to start, with Watkins Glen racing and bow-hunting history on every wall - the staff is friendly and full of stories to share. Dinner was good and we will return on our next visit.

The attitude of the staff offset any positive from the food. I was with a group and had planned to buy dinner for my friend. I ordered the large filet and he ordered the small one. When they plates arrived, it was obvious which steak belonged to which person, since mine was considerably larger than his. When the check came,... More

A popular hangout for many travelers. Unique in atmosphere and great waitstaff. Fun place and apparently very historical to racing fans.

We really wanted a good steak on our recent trip and stumbled upon Seneca Lodge Restaurant. We are so glad we did. The little salad bar comes with every meal and is fresh and the dressings taste homemade. The steak was a very large portion and done to perfection. I hate the T-bone queen cut. Very reasonably priced and my... More

This is my favorite summer spot. The food is excellent and the Brubaker family runs it with pride. I live locally and appreciate their ability to cater to locals and tourists with a great menu and ambiance.

Had dinner here our first night in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Great casual atmosphere and didn't feel like we needed to dress up for dinner.

We eaten and stayed here many times for breakfast and dinner. Food is fresh and good. Dinner items have been known to sell out fast, get there early. Salad bar small, but quality times. Homemade Soy Bread is excellent. Save room for dessert.

We ate at the Seneca Lodge on a recent Friday evening. The place was packed with locals and visitors to the area. Once we got seated after a short wait, and we ordered. We checked out the small, but nice salad bar that was refilled regularly with fresh items. They had great corn muffins. The meals arrived and were very good.... More

Great retro character of the upstate New York park lodges. Rustic atmosphere inside and outside of the main building. Great bar area that celebrates racing and archery competitions....must see. Breakfast was great with very friendly service.

Do yourself a favor and sit in the bar with the locals. The dining room is a bit stiff, but the bar is hopping. So much racing history in this place if that's your thing. Great food and drinks to go along with it.
