Very long wait. Service could be better. Food average food prices above average. Probably because it's located at state park entrance.
Good food, good service. Not fond of the Silver Dollars and $2 bills given as change at the bar...BUT... the drinks are good! This is an old style lodge with lots of character and charm. Very busy during the summer during tourist season and NASCAR racing at the Watkins Glen Track!
My son was racing at a sport car club of America event at the motor speedway. My wife and I drove to Watkins Glen from Long Island to watch the races. We stayed at the Seneca Lodge in their motel unit. While we were there we dined at their restaurant. Let me say, it had to be the the place... More
Every year when we are vacationing in the area, a cocktail in the tavern and dinner here is a must. The place is an old style lodge with tons of charm and character. We absolutely love it! The food is excellent and the salad bar is the best! If you like blue cheese dressing, there's none better!
This place has the BEST London broil I have ever had! The salad bar is amazing and the servers are very skilled and good at what they do. A must visit if they are open while you are in town.
The atmosphere is very much classic old time road racing mixed in very well with modern day NASCAR. The food and drinks are abundant. What a great place to end a great day at!
OK, first of all, the food was fine. The 2 guys had the London broil. I had alfredo pasta with broccoli and my friend had pasta with marinara. All was good and the servings were HUGE!! There is a small salad bar with several bread choices on it. The salad selection was very slim (lettuce, onions, cucumbers, bell peppers). The... More
The best food in Watkins Glen! The service was great & friendly. And let me tell you, this was the best filet mignon I have ever had!!
We stayed in the Watkins Glen area for the weekend and chose to eat here the first night in town. Very tastey beers brewed there. Great selection of food. Salad bar is all locally grown produce. I had the London Broil and my husband had the Sole stuffed with crab meat. both were excellent! Very friendly and attentive staff. Would... More
Four of us enjoyed dinner at Seneca Lodge during a Finger Lakes wine tasting vacation. We loved the rustic lodge feel of the restaurant and bar, and the food was very good, including the nice, small salad bar.
