The night we visited there were two separate private parties. I am assuming this is why our service was incredibly slow. When the food did arrive, my onion rings were cold, but the burger was fine. I thought the view would be better because it is on the river and looked rather quaint from the outside, but we saw only... More

If you are looking for the ubiquitous want-to-be sports bars with good food and tons of different beers, this may be what your looking for. However, in the room where we were seated, the televisions were far to small for the size of the room. Our Reuben sandwiches were okay (I've had much better) and the french fries were obviously... This nice little joint, removed from the main part of town but still close enough to work has a special charm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and a good menu. I tried their soup as well as Lobster Mac n' Cheese. Enjoyed both of these as well as the good selection of beers on tap.

Cool spot, way better than hitting a chain place up by the mall. Cool bar, can get crowded, so get there early. Solid menu, I had a pulled pork sandwich, it was huge. You won't leave hungry. Excellent beer selection too.

Just looking for a reasonable place to grab supper after work, my wife and I decided to hit one of our favs, Maggies on the River. Unfortunately, this wasn't a night we could sit at the bar and enjoy the tasty brews on tap, we just headed to the dining room. And not hungry enough for a dinner, we hit... More

We went for a friends birthday and it was a miserable experience. The waitress seemed to be in a terrible mood, it took half an hour just for her to take our order and bring a water. Refills were hard to come by and when one of our party members asked for a refill-she sighed so loudly that we heard... More

Winter in Watertown, NY....makes for an interesting season to find an out of the way establishment. That said, it was worth the pain. The menu is eclectic an fun....the food was excellent....the beer selection on tap was even better...and the atmosphere and physical environs were really, really cool. It's kind fo an old warehouse by the river that has been... More

Nice surprise, great place for beer or a good fresh burger. Stop in just after lunch on a cold winter day. Nice place, warm and friendly. My burger was good, fresh and cooked the way I like. They have wings, flat bread and other pub type on the menu too. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather to sit... More

Maggie's has the best wings, fresh burgers, and fries in the area. I know its bad for me but they serve a side of cheese w every order of fries. Also a fan of the buffalo chicken pasta. They also have very fair prices. Whether I'm with my buddies, my fiancé, or my parents are visiting for the weekend, Maggie's... More

Stopped in Watertown en route to Vt. skiing. Hotel recommended Maggie's- locally owned pub-/ sports bar and family restaurant! Cozy interior is deceiving. First Floor is sports bar- T.V's , lots of brews on tap( a whole wall of taps to choose from!) ,( some local!) , then upstairs was a family restaurant. The Third floor is reserved for private...
