Established neighborhood restaurant with a varied menu. Portions were more than expected, and carefully made by in house staff, including delicious cole slaw and a homemade, hand dipped fish breading on lake perch and a good sized piece of haddock. Fries were freshly cut, with skins on. Drinks are available. Dessert was just OK-sounded better than how they turned out... More

We visited on a Tues. evening. The place was about half full. It is a little dirty and on the shabby side, which does not bother me if the food is good, but it wasn't. We both had Lobster Bisque that had no chunks of lobster in it, just little specks, not worth the $5.99 for the small cup. The... More

The food is always awesome...pick blindly from the menu and you will be satisfied. Enjoyed the crab cakes...considering it is the north country it is top notch. I would eat here before I eat at any of the chains in the area. Menu has depth and variety. Taste and price are excellent.

Stopped by on the way back from visiting the Museum at Fort Drum. Had a great lunch. They have daily specials which include soup with your sandwich. Even enjoyed the homemade desserts.

Its been two years since we have been in this area and I feel my past review of this restaurant should be updated. We have eaten here three times in the last three weeks and had a very good meal each time. The restaurant has been updated just enough to maintain its old time atmosphere, that’s severely lacking in today’s... More

I don't eat there as much as I would like but they have the best alfredo sauce...home made mash potatoes and its a nice place to eat not as fast paced as your chains.

Recently ate at Shulers (Mother's day meal) and we were not happy with our meals at all. There were 9 in our party and not one person was happy with their meal. We usually go there twice a year, usually for their BBQ (which by the way is great.) but we didn't realize that they have a certain menu for... More

Shulers Restaurant in Watertown is one of those heritage places that has been around for as long as I can remember. And for a good reason. The food is very good, and the portions reasonable. We stopped by on an early Sunday evening. I ordered the veal parmesan. A real treasure here. Melt in your mouth veal topped with cheese... More

I visited this restaurant during a recent business trip, and enjoyed a very good lunch. It opened at 11:30a, and we were "first in". In spite of just starting up, not only was the staff friendly, but also our order was taken promptly and the food brought out in a timely manner. I had the prime rib sandwich, two sides...just...
