Refurbished since last visit

It had been a year or two since we last ate here. While the space has remained relatively the same, the restaurant is now brighter, fresher and less cluttered. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. As usual the food was very good. The NY strip loin was done to my perfection with a side of... read more

This was the first time we have been to Shulers since the new owners. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and she said it was nothing like it used to be. We both had Calamari which was ok considering it was a frozen variety. I had the fried seafood dinner and it was ok but not as good as it... More

If you are in the area stop in Schulers for a wonderful dinner! Located right in the middle of a neighborhood. We were in town for a white water rafting trip and found it on trip advisor. Each meal is served with soup or salad and the meal portions are great. The seafood scampi over linguini was to die for!... More

Shulers is an informal, basic American restaurant featuring steak and seafood. It is straightforward, with no surprises. No Michelin stars, for sure, but good basic fare. My elderly father and I had dinner there in July. Prime rib was good, though a bit past medium rare. My dad's scallops were very good. First glass of wine was oxidized, but quickly... More

So glad to hear that you were happy with your experience (except the pasta). It's always good to hear that we succeeded in most aspects of your service as this only makes us try harder. Stop back again and we will try to do even better! More

We discovered Shuler's Restaurant a few years back. Being a lover of steamed clams my husband and I thought we died and gone to heaven. Even though there are new owners the food was delicious, the service was great and the owner was friendly and welcomed us. The steamed clams were fresh, huge and the best I've had in some... More

We have been going to Schulers every so often over the years and have always had a good meal and a good time. There was one time it was ruined due to a lousy waitress, but she wasn't there long. I always get the seafood alfredo with the shrimp, scallops, salmon and broccoli, and am never disappointed, and we just... More

my husband ordered a smothered king cut prime rib priced at $23.99 on the menu. when he got the bill, he was charged $29.00 for the prime rib and an extra $2.50 for the toppings. I called the restaurant when we got home and told whoever answered the phone. she told me that new owners had taken over and that... More

Simply put, we heard one of our favorite places had been sold, so we had to check out the new Schuler’s to see how it was going. The place looks about the same, maybe less cluttered, and as always, we were greeted by someone and showed to a table. I believe this was one of the new owners, because he... More

Poor service and food that tasted like it came out of the microwave. The owner/ manager was out on the floor greeting guests but was trying way too hard to sell the place. Prices would be reasonable if the food would have been better. I tasted all of the food in our three person party and everything was very bland.... More
