It's the journey, not the destination..

The draw of this restaurant is more the view and the ride or walk up--the food is good but it's standard Moroccan fare (grilled meats, rice, semolina bread, salads) and nothing unusual. But it's prepared over wood fires and tastes great after the haul to get up the mountainside. The path is steep... read more

Came for lunch on a day trip from Marrakech and had wonderful seats up in the 'eagles nest' top part of the restaurant terrace area. Superb 360 degree views and a welcome cool breeze after the heat of Marrakech. It's DH300 for a set lunch menu (you have no choice, it's 4 courses, and as a non-resident you pay a... More

Visited for lunch after sending an email that morning, good food including best salad we ate during entire trip. Simple Moroccan food but well executed.

Quite an experience. 40 kms from the sun of Marrakesh into the snow of Imlil on the way to the Kasbah du Toubkal. The last part of the journey was done on the back of a mule! Good lunch outdoors and fantastic views of the snow capped mountains.

Hotel is rather expensive but once in a lifetime, food phenomenal in the evening, simple but delicious. No alcohol and no one took any but I don't think they would mind if you did. View and location speak for themselves. Beware the walks are a bit more challenging than you would expect for intro or half day but well worth... More

Not the cheapest lunch in the world, but the setting is hard to beat and the food pretty good as well. Their mixed salad was a little piece of art and very delicate. Would love to go back.

This is the most amazing place, with a 360 panoramic view of the High Atlas Mountains, and Mount Toubkal itself, snow clad this time of year. Lunch is served on the terrace and was traditional Berber fare, good, nourishing and tasty food. The Kofta Tagine was particularly good, and the bread is home made and fresh. Staff very friendly and... More

Recommended by our Riad and nicely priced food. Typical Moroccan menu and it seemed a lot of locals ate here.
