Wonderful meal, with a spectacular view

This day out is well worth it. The best meal of our trip. The breathtaking views, and the peace and quiet, this is a must see destination. Simple local food, served with pride. The whole experience was memorable for all the right reasons.

This is an astounding place, set in a beautiful location with gorgeous grounds. Rooms are spectacular, we were even given the option to spend a night out on the roof under the stars which was amazing. Imlil town a sort walk away and worth a visit. If you're thinking of staying her- DO! you won't regret it!

Our family with two young children arranged for a trip to Imlil to visit this Kasbah. They picked us up, took us to a market, and then on to Imlil where we had a wonderful hike with a wonderful guide. The Kasbah was magical, the food incredible. There were three extensive courses, incredible fruit for dessert, and it was ample... More

We had a guided walking tour and had pre-booked lunch at Kasbah Du Toubkal. The lunch was a set menu, and no options for additional orders. Food was very basic despite the rather expensive prices, however portions were large and plentiful. But most importantly the view is absolutely incredible and actually makes the food a secondary thing here. Highly recommended,... More

We were staying elsewhere in Imlil but made the effort to trek up the hill to the kasbah. It was definitely worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food (set menu) was fantastic. At €20 per head it was good value for the quality of food and experience. They even walked us home to our Riad afterwards.... More

We went here as part of a guided walking tour with a pre-booked lunch. It was a set menu which we enjoyed but there was too much food and it was relatively expensive for the area at approx £20 each. However, it is well worth visiting, we were just sorry that so much food was wasted. At least the owner... More

Dear Cricketer20, Thank you for your review. Just to put your mind at rest in a Muslim country, unlike in the West, the host would feel they had not given real hospitality if their guests eat all on a plate. Typically men are served first and when they have finished the dishes go back to the kitchen where the women... More

Simple meals by candle light. Set meal (no choice). Delicious but do expect tajine every night if you stay at the Kasbah and choose not to go on alternative culinary exploration (possibly limited in any case)... Service exemplary (in the context of the surroundings).

Dear Katerina B, Thank you for your review. Acheiving the correct balance between the romance of a meal by candle light and being able to see clearly, as in a fully lit room, is a challenge. I am sorry you could not see your food as you would have wished Thank you again for the review. More

each meal is served with care and there is just too much good food to eat One must be careful ordering or most will go back to the kitchen. Like in much of Morocco, bread made on premises and fresh and hot each meal
