Best Italien in the Indian Ocean

We stayed at a little new hotel not far called Voile Bleue. The staff recommended us to try this place out. What a fantastic italian restaurant. Food was simply amazing. No menus. What you eat is what was caught by the fisherman the same day. Totally recommended!

The menu is proposed by the owner and changes daily. We both had clams in tomato/garlic sauce as starter followed by Seafood spaghetti for my wife and the catch of the day in musterd sauce for me. The starter was just amazing, main course just 1 notch down but still very good and very fresh products. All in we paid... More

Lovely setting, warm, friendly owner, spectacular food. One of the best meals I have ever had. So worth the expensive taxi ride to get there from the hotel.

No need for a menu. The lovely owner will spend a little time with you learning what you like, or explaining what she recommends, based on the catch and supplies of the day. No matter what, it is all wonderful. Lovely sitting outdoors. Indoors is not so nice, partly the office and workspace of the staff. [Note: TripAdvisor has the... More

Due to many good reviews here on Tripadvisor we tried this italian restaurant. We hadnt made a reservation but were very lucky to get the last table. Good job from the owner to tell you all about the dishes offered, he seems to do this job as soon as it comes to english speaking guests, his wife prefers the french... More

This little gem is not to be missed. We were staying in Mon Choisy and thought wee would give it a try. They made room even though they were clearly fully booked. We ordered a beer and requested the menu an a young lady appeared and recited the offer for the evening Every night is obviously different The tuna fillet... More

We came by this restaurant by chance really, we'd been walking along the beach and fancied a beer and as usual checked out the menu. Actually the menu was the owner telling us what she could be prepared. Grilled fish in a mustard sauce - great food. Couple of nice cool beers and we left very satisfied. Service was also... More

What can I say, the place is always full... for good reason! The menu is typical of a restaurant intent on serving only the freshest food to its customers. No ten page book here, just a blackboard with the right variety of dishes to choose from. It is always reassuring when a restaurant is busy and bustling with activity, as... More

We just stumbled over this place while driving around looking for a restaurant. It looked charming with its open terrace on the seaside, so we went in. Wow, what a good decision. The food was heavenly. All fresh ingredients and the best Italian flavours. We had bresaola stuffed with cheese, octopus with truffle, and large tuna steaks with mustard sauce... More

This is not your ordinary Italian restaurants where pasta and pizzas are served. There is no board/printed menu and the owners recite the list of dishes offered for the day (changes all the time ... chicken, beef, seafood, vegetarian...). If none pleases you, you can ask the owners to propose other dishes. They will always find something to cater to... More
