We found this restaurant in the Lonely Planet guide and it was worth it: you get freshly cooked dishes for a very good price, try the curries and seafood - it's their specialities.

Good food, half the price than restaurants in Grand Baie.Good menu range, could eat here every day at these prices. Service was good. Average on atmosphere but pretty standard for Mauritius except in the hotels

Like most of the authentic venues, the decor is almost out of a 60's diner cafe. The food however was tasty and fresh. Locals used it as a Takeaway so not so many in. Ate here twice so it had to be ok, we went back, that says it all.

The food was tasty. The service was unfriendly. We had lamb chops and they were very small in size, like a child portion. The cost of the meal was double that of the Mauritian restaurant up the street. Not a good choice.

This is my second year of frequenting this restaurant and for good reason. GREAT value for money, food is delicious and service is excellent. Get there early though as it gets busy FAST. I asked them to customise a dish for me and they did it without hesitation and with a smile. At the end of our meal they comp'd... More

This restaurant was excellent value for money with main courses around 250 rupees, drinks were cheap too. The service was very attentive and the food was very tasty. It's a fairly big place, with nice sitting in a garden, a bit off the road. When we were there, the place was about half full. I think it's undeservably low-ranked, as... More
