Fine dining while listening to the rythm of the waves. Thanks to the chef and his team. Special thanks to Odile Chevreau

Large dining area overlooking part of Grand Baie. They serve lovely Prawns, Calamari and other Sea Foods. Just a pity about the price; but then, the Mauritian Rupees has grown in value, so the higher prices are due to the devaluation of our own currency. Worth visiting

We have been visiting Mauritius for many years and when we are there we always go out our way to visit Le Pescatore for lunch. It is a joy to eat here on the edge of the Ocean watching the small boats go by and being served by the most charming staff. We have never been disappointed by the quality... More

We ate dinner here with a large group of business colleagues and it was awesome. Impeccable service, amazing food and a wonderful setting overlooking the beach. The tuna starter with three variations of tuna, raw and seared was out of this world. The mains were fantastic as well, we had the prawns, the seared tuna and the steak in the... More

Welcomed happily by Kishu this was a perfect night for dining. It was a special night being my wife's birthday. He had promised us a table against the beach and the magnificent setting matched a unique menu. Service was second to none. The five or was it six course set menu was delicious and we enjoyed it all. As we got... More

My wife and daughter wanted to go for Blue Safari Submarine and Le Pescatore is in the same compound...It is a small but elegant restaurant with excellent service. Loved the food and the view...pic's uploaded for tripadvisor users.

I was there a year ago. Had a grilled fish that was overcooked and dry and payed for it about 10 times more than it costs anywhere else, where they actually can cook it well. Never again.

Located on the edge of the ocean, Le Pescatore is well sited and the Chef's taster menu was six courses of delightfully cooked and presented food. Cost was around £200 for two, without wine.

Yes Le Pescatore's veranda is gorgeous, yes the service was impeccable and yes this was the best meal we had in Mauritius over a week long holiday. However, it is also a daylight robbery. The two michelin star prices (50$ for a crab millefeuilles starter) are completely unjustified and do leave a sour taste in your mouth. We paid the... More
