Restaurant was recommended as one of the best in Grand Baie (even one of the best in Mauritius). Not fine dining at all.... but perfectly good food. Because of the cyclone, many dishes were not available but the atmosphere was great. Ordered rare steak... got medium rare/almost well done steak. But the wine was great!

The waiters were fine but the restaurant manager was not of the expected caliber. The quality of food has deteriorated significantly over the past few months. Hygiene remains questionable as their bin was very smelly and an obnoxious smell blew into the restaurant every time there would be a northerly breeze. The price is no longer appropriate for the quality... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel. The ambiance and service was average. I ordered lobster without looking at the price and was shocked by the fact that they served langoustine instead of lobster and for £120 GBP. Even if they served lobster it would have been far too expensive. The dessert, was missing half its ingredients and wasn't cooked.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend as being "the" fish restaurant to visit in Mauritius. It was OK but, just OK and, very expensive for what it was. In truth, we ate far better shellfish at the airport in Dubai, for far less money! Over-rated.

We booked here on the off chance and what a surprise we got a lovely restaurant with lovely views and ambience. Most of the nicer restaurants in Mauritius seem overpriced to me , this was the same, but much better overall for food. The night we went there was a guy playing piano and singing which added to the evening.

The food was generally good, nice view and atmosphere. Waiters friendly except the restaurant manager of the day who obviously lacks manners - shouting in the restaurant to clients in the car park.

We went there for lunch. Right on the surf - beautiful view. Friendly staff and good food. Lovely wine. Two well-kept fish tanks with live coral !

Recommended by my hotel and didn't disappoint. I had the lobster which was very expensive but cooked superbly. The staff were very friendly. It had a lovely atmosphere and there were two men signing with an acoustic guitar during the meal who were very good. Slightly spoiled at the end of the evening when the head waiter (who was serving... More

This is a very nice restaurant with a friendly staff. We had a delicious seafood meal which was served in a lovely setting. For all the food we ate, the bill was not heavy at all I must say!!

Since our last vist to this restaurant 1 year ago many things have changed. The menu has been reduced by more than half which is not a bad thing as it was a huge thing to choose from before. Secondly the prices have increased by a large amount from last year. Starters are approx euro 15 and main can be... More
