This is one of those special places. Not only is it a wonderful bakery filled with all kinds of their home made breads, pastries, pies, cakes, etc. but at lunchtime they make the most delectable sandwiches ever. As you enter this casual, rustic, and hippish place you are immediately happier than you were before you came in. The smell of... More

I have only been twice but happy with the excellent selection presented. On the first visit I got a nice fresh loaf and 3 different cheeses from their excellent selection. They post a menu online each day so you may look to see selections before you arrive. I will be back to try lunch. If you are looking for a... More

One of my all-time favorite lunch places in the Hamptons. The breads range from a chewy sourdough baquette, homemade cheesy rolls with asiago, and a soft squishy roll excellent for sandwiches. Everything is made on premises, including sandwich fillings and salad fixings. The staff is efficient and polite if treated similarly by the customers. They are not thrilled with special... More

Only the most obnoxious would be offended by their signs, or the management. If your disrespectful, they will tell you. The rest of society ( and us others in line ) can appreciate that and only wish that more people would take the stand. The food is the best anywhere. Its real food, you cant get much anywhere else.

We stopped in the other day, August 2013 to buy some bagels. The were out of bagels as they only bake a limited number every day, but, their other items are to die for! The scones, cheese breads and cinnamon bread are fantastic. You cannot eat in, only take out, but don't miss this place!

Yummy lunches deserts gourmet cheese Way more than a bakery. Watch out, the staff is beyond surly at times, often aggressively insulting as the temperature rises and the lines get longer. Still totally worth dropping by, the foods fab.

Good staff and the gruyere bread is to die for! Never had anything like that anywhere. As a matter of fact, all the breads are great and are really homemade not "homebaked'. There is a difference folks. Bagels are nice but wish there was more variety. Pies are some of the best I've had (that I didn't bake). Good sandwiches... More

good service and all the locals eat there/pick up orders there. THe coffee, though, is served in tall carafes and I got the last cup of chai tea which was only lukewarm. Go elsewhere for coffee!
