Went there with my wife who is originally from the area. We were up here and needed a quick meal on Mothers Day so figured a diner might be a better idea than a restaurant. They were pretty busy but we were able to sit at the counter. The service was good and so was the food. The prices were... More

The first diner ever I've been in. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a pulled pork sandwich which was great. All in all nice experience.

The Skylark has been a staple of ours since we moved to the area 14 years ago. Breakfast is always served hot, which is a big deal for me, and be sure to try the blueberry pancakes! You'll find all the usual diner fare here, but better quality is easy to taste. A turkey sandwich tastes like it's carved off... More

This is your old fashioned 1940-50's style dinner. Stools at a counter, booths and tables. Great service. The food is your basic classic diner food that is equal to most diners menu's which is why I gave it an average rating. Very good for breakfast, usually a crowd there for that meal. Very affordable. Always have a selection of pies... More

The Skylark was always a good basic diner. My favorite dish has always been the corned beef hash, but most of the breakfast fare was very good. The service is always outstanding. The last time in, the only thing that was good was the service. The hash was barley average, and the eggs (over easy and an omelet) were coated... More

Food is always good, fairly priced, and waitresses are attentive. They are always packed for breakfast on the weekends so you might have a bit of a wait but it's worth it.

Classic diner with affordable meals, great service, local commitment to the community. Frequently see emergency services personnel in the establishment and it is clear they treat them right. We love to support local businesses that reflect the same sense of community and no one does that better than Skylark diner!

We were in the area 2 days & stopped in here for breakfast both mornings . To my surprise the waitress remembered we had gotten 'one coffee, one tea' the previous morning! Wha-!! :)) Wow!! And she even knew to bring me Earl Grey! That impressed me. The breakfast was delicious. We had plenty to be completely full. I have... More

Whether you are having breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Skylark Diner will not disappoint. Hearty meals at 1960's prices! Dinner for 2 can cost as little as $20 including tip and you will not be disappointed with your meal. We visited twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast on our recent visit to the Binghamton/Vestal area. Open 24 hours... More
