I live in Ohio where we just don't have diners like this. This is up there with any NY or NJ traditional diner. Good food, good waitresses. Can't wait to return!

They are open for breakfast and lunch. We stopped on for lunch. Service could use some improvement. Food was good - fried haddock plater and grilled chicken sandwich. Parking is good.

Best vegie omelet ever. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this diner. We love having breakfast out and eat in a lot of different restaurants. Best one yet.

Same type of experience as previous writer, Kelly. My husband and I had eaten at Pete's a number of times and really loved the breakfast, especially the homemade bread. My husband refuses to return the restaurant after being asked several times by our waitress if we were done eating and ready to leave. She explained that the owner asked her... More

I was at Pete's today with 2 of my friends celebrating my birthday. After eating our meal one of the owners came to our table and told us we had been there too long and that we couldn't sit here "chatting" all morning and we were asked to leave!! He said a large group had left because he couldn't give... More

I had an amazing breakfast this morning...beginning with the warm welcome my husband and I received upon entering Pete's. The menus isn't huge, but the portions are. And the prices are less than half of what one would pay at any other similar type of restaurant. The food was delicious...especially the coffee! Our waitress, Camille, was friendly and charming...and wonderfully... More

As the title says, "Pete's Legacy Diner," on Old Vestal Road, off of route 434 in Vestal, NY 13850. There is always a small line, but that is because the prices and food are made well. The positive is that the food and service are fast and efficient, which helps you enjoy your meal; however, I have not been there... More

My husband introduced me to Pete's about a year ago. I LOVE it. We call it our 'hang out'. I generally make adjustments to my order (egg white omelet, dry toast, etc.). Unlike other places, my orders have never been wrong. The omlets are not greasy at all (in many cases, I find myself blotting oil off - but not... More

We were at Pete’s Legacy Diner this morning for breakfast. After standing in line 15 - 17 minutes, it became our turn. Pete (owner) came over and said I have a large booth open, but you are only a party of two people. I am going to take the ones behind you, only a 3 minute wait. I said ok.... More
