Meh, worth skipping

The place was nearly empty during football playoff game. Exterior looked recently updated. Interior looked clean but tables and chairs need to be replaced. Tacky tablecloths. Server was pleasant. We ordered mushroom barley soup (so-so) and French onion soup (not hot). I ordered a Caesar salad... read more

The place was nearly empty during football playoff game. Exterior looked recently updated. Interior looked clean but tables and chairs need to be replaced. Tacky tablecloths. Server was pleasant. We ordered mushroom barley soup (so-so) and French onion soup (not hot). I ordered a Caesar salad since my partner ordered a delmonico steak special that came with a lobster tail... More

Have had lunch and dinner here previously and had great experiences. Tonight, however, was disappointing. The server did not mention the specials. The salads were good but we were informed that they no longer have Thousand Island dressing. While the steaks were cooked to our request and very tasty, they were not overly warm. The onion rings needed seasoning and... More

Decent prices and food is pretty good. Staff has always been very accommodating whenever I have gone there. Would definitely return.

Joel’s is one of those places known by the locals as a great place to go for good food. There were eight of us from 12 to late 60s there for a family dinner, all of us wanting something different and the menu did not cave to the task. The wait staff person was quick but attentive to detail and... More

My husband and I went to a show at Turning Stone Casino yesterday afternoon and wanted to add a nice date night dinner to our outing. We did not want to eat at the Casino, so as we were walking out we ran into an employee that was ending their shift and asked her for a recommendation, and the Stampede... More

Just came home furious after eating at Stampede Steak House! Still the same filthy bar and restaurant. I will admit that the Delmonico steaks were tasty...lacked proper seasoning, but good. Baked potato was...well, let's say perfect, it was baked. I started with a house salad with wine and vinegar. Calamari as an appetizer, under seasoned, greasy but, camouflaged it all... More

So, this was my husband and my second time at Stampede. The first time my steak was thin and baked potato was over cooked. We decided to try it again; my 8oz NY Strip was very thin and my baked potato was over cooked again! And the fresh bread sticks, were far from being fresh. I do have to say,... More

Stopped at Stampede for lunch today. (Formerly Joel's Steakhouse). Completely remodeled inside. Smartest thing I've ever seen in a bar/restaurant - there is a ladies restroom and a unisex restroom. Should solve the problem of the long line ladies! The beef was excellent. I had the london broil sandwich with demi glace gravy and my husband had the prime rib... More

We stopped last night for "wing night". From what I hear, the place is usually packed, but last night, it wasn't so busy (it was snowing pretty hard). They were well-staffed and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered the house wings, which is pretty much an "everything" wing and a house salad. The salad was big and... Not impressed... Service very slow and staff inattentive. We ordered 2 meals the special shrimp and scallops which was soaked with oil from the cheese used and poorly presented. A burger which consisted of a 8 oz patty on a bun, nothing else.... The key to success in the restaurant business is attentive staff, good quality food properly prepared and... More
