Absolutely the best pizza!

I first became accustomed to O'scugnizzo's pizza when I lived in Utica 35 years ago. After moving south, I was transferred to NYC in the early 1990's. During that time, my wife and I would often make road trips on Saturdays to Utica for their pizza. Although, we have been back in the south for many... read more

I like coal-fired Neapolitan pizza like they serve at Michele's in Naples. Charred on the bottom and gooey in the center. The stuff they serve here is thick focaccia with sauce over some melted cheese. It's worth going once just to read all the rave reviews. My theory is someone made the pizza wrong once and then claimed they meant... More

Self serve establishment. Great tasting rectangular shaped pizza. Dining room with a TV monitor to watch the Orange Men.

This pizza is truly unique to the Utica area. It is by far the best pizza I've had outside of NYC. From the sauce to the cheese to the crust, it is all fantastic I grew up with this pizza and have loved it from Day 1. I live in MA now but every time I come to visit family... More

We had pizza and fish fry delivered to our hotel. Pizza was inedible -- I actually sent my son downstairs with it to throw it away so it would not be in the room. I can handle the sauce on top but the dough was like bad foccacio and tasted terrible! As for the fish, what place sends a take... More

This is a great pizza. The style is unique, the sauce is tasty and the crust is done to perfection. You can't say enough about this. There are imitators who try but O'Scug's sets the bar pretty high.

Another place we miss since we moved to Florida. What could be said, everyone who has eaten at O'scugnizzo knows just how good they are. Everyone who hasn't, well ... you probably won't believe us until you try it for yourself. This is one of the place you don't ever want to miss when you are in Utica.

This is my favorite pizza, not just the mother store in East Utica, but all the branches share the essential recipe, thankfully. This is my comfort food pizza. This screams "Utica" to me. Just love it. They also serve other "comfort food" things like pepper and egg sandwiches that bring back memories. Always fresh, never been disappointed with the food... More

We decided to have pizza for a good time with guests and instead of going to our main stay Alberto's (Arcuri's) we tried another place for a change. What a mistake!!! to top it off everyone was sick after. First time customer, last time patron. And we had been told that they delivered...that was happening...

My experience with O Scugnizzo's was in 1957 when my papa, Irish by birth but Italiziced thoroughly as just about all of us are here in Utica...decided to bring 7 large O Scugnizzo pizzas on the Mohawk and Piedmont flights he was taking from Utica to East Tennessee ( Erwin) for the family Christmas there. Thus, a UItica " Mayo... More
