The best Italian pastries!

This is the place for coffee and Italian cookies. Their cannolis are the best in the area. I recently ordered the chocolate Godiva cake for a friend's birthday and it was wonderful. You cannot go wrong here - it's the real deal. (My mother's wedding cake came from here 70 years ago!)

Can not really write a review as this place was closed on Tuesday when I was in Utica. Their competitor a block away had chosen to be closed on Tuesday as well!!!????

I just had their canoli cake with strawberries and rum filling, real whipped cream frosting with slivered almonds for my Birthday. Fantastic!! One of the best and oldest Italian bakeries in Utica.

If the Florentine ever closes, I will be pretty much out of reasons to ever visit Utica, they may as well shut the city down. The pastries are the best you will ever have. Coffee is great, service is perfect.

Go to the Florentine Pastry Shop on Bleecker (not the other one in New Hartford) and you won't be sorry. There is a reason this fine Italian establishment has been in business since 1928. The cappuccino coffees are the BEST. The pastries are ridiculously good and heartwarmingly cheap: a fine Raspberry or Rum Neapolitan will set you back just two... More

Top notch pastries, very , very good ! They have a large variety of pastries, specializing in Italian pastries. If you like pastries then you can't go wrong with this bakery and will be glad you selected them.

My family and I have visited Utica dozens of times and never knew about this pastry shop. A friend told us about it recently so we decided to try it. My husband is half Italian, and he sings praises for the tiramisu (absolutely delicious), pusties, and canolis. Don't leave Utica without a stop here. You can even have a seat... More

Although we only live a little over an hour away, we don't get to Utica much, so......we made sure to bring some home with us!!!
