Busy but fun

We had dinner just before a Broadway production next door and were pleasantly surprised. Even though we came early and knew we had to wait a little for dinner since the restaurant was full, it was worth the wait. The dinners were tasty and hot with portions moderate. Decided it was a great day for an extra special lunch, so stopped in to check it out. Got there late, the place was empty, so enjoyed a most indulgent filling lunch in peace! The shrimp bisque was amazing!!! Perfectly toasted crutons, floating in this delish cup with a yummy huge shrimp besides!! Then, slid into a shrimp and lobster... More

Don't live in Utica, stopped in on a whim when traveling through the Utica area.We had fried meatballs/ filet tips/ shrimp and calamari dish. All were excellent. The risotto was cooked well. The sautéed spinach was freshly made. The homemade marinara was yummy with fresh ingredients. I will gladly drive the hour from Syracuse to go back to this restaurant.

Authentic Italian food, unlike many chains that claim to know what real Italian food is supposed to taste like. Intimate setting with great staff.

Chocolate crepe with raspberry cream cheese inside and fresh whipped cream and galato on top. OMG! Oh, the chicken soup was excellent too!

We stopped in twice for quick meals while touring colleges this week. On a cold drizzly day the PEI mussels were just what the doctor ordered. Although a bit on the salty side, they make for a very hearty lunch. But the next night we ordered the Utica greens and were blown away. This local specialty is a deep casserole... More

Have eaten here few times for business. Location is easy to get to and parking is very easy unless you go on a night the theater next door is busy. Appetizers were good but calamari over cooked. Menu is diverse and they are very willing to substitute any of the sides. Filet was over cooked. Slightly tough. Overall not a... More

Was there for a night. Was told to eat here...best in town...Horrible service....mediocre food. Not worth going into the bowels of that city to be pushed and shoved. Bad experience altogether.
