So worth it. A must is to look at at the specials board for the evening. Tonight chicken Portobello with tomato basil over stuffed reggie amazing! They had at least 10 specials tonight.

I took 32 people to Joey's for 2 nights, had food delivered for one night. Absolutely delicious entre's, wide selection, fresh. Friendly staff. The red house outside is deceiving, this is definitely a great choice!

Very good place to to meet family/friends. Small place, attentive staff, large portions. Above average menu. Small dinning room and small back room for groups. Your not there for the atmosphere, your there for the food. Rough neighborhood. We will be back when in the area.

Joey's is definitely nothing fancy. But, it is delicious, casual dining. Each time I have been there, I have felt like I was at someone's house-turned-diner. Everything and everyone is so informal. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone - whether you love Italian food or not.

This is a fun place to eat. The italian food choices are numerous and there are always many specials listed on the board. The restaurant is small in size but big in character and very friendly. The service is great and Chris is terrific on Friday nights. She remembers your favorites from week to week. Just a fun place to... More

Joey's is a throw back to another time and place. Nestled in the constantly evolving melting pot of East Utica, home to wave after wave of immigrants, the restaurant has frozen a moment from the past. PS: The food is great, too! The building is a brick structure that (according to legend) used to be a butcher shop. Outside you'll... More

Fresh and made to order, this Italian food is rich and delicious. The menu is varied and they always have a long list of specials. The wait staff is friendly and if there is a wait for the food it's ok with me because I know it's made to order. The prices are good and the tin ceiling and old... More

Right out of the 50s. Terrific neighborhood Italian restaurant. Good food with a family feel. If you're driving through Utica, check it out.

.This is an old neighborhood restaurant. It beats out the chain Italian restaurants. You get more then what you pay for at this restaurant the value is high. If you are dining on a budget this is the place to go. When you get inside its like stepping back in time, the ceiling is a very old tin. The waitress... More
