Food to go - sometimes that is all that matters. Fish fry to go with either Tartar Sauce or Chili Sauce - great. Still warm upon my arrival home. Staff seems okay, would not give them much more than that. Some appear dirty, unhappy. However, dropped some money in front of the counter when I exited the establishment, a female... More

These are only available to my knowledge in the Troy, NY area. Every summer we make ted's our first stop when we go to Troy for our vacation. The fresh home made onion rings are beyond description. It's all wonderful here!

Yes, Ted's has the best fish fry in the capital region area! What you should also know is that they have grilled chicken , some locations have grilled salmon , there are soups, salad, and of course burgers and dogs! There truly is something for everyone. A definite stop when in the area! You won't be sorry. 🐠🐟🐬🐳🐋

Visiting Troy for the first time in almost 10 years, we stopped at Ted's for lunch. What a great piece of Cod and great fries. Chili sauce on fish - only in NY!

The title sums is up. I have gone to Teds since the late 1980s. The only place that competes against it as to best fish fry in the Capital District is Bob and Ron's on Central Avenue in Albany. To me, it would be a toss up between the two. If I am craving for a great fish fry, the... More

Ted's blows them away. Been driving by the place for a long time and finally decided to give it a try. If you are in the mood for fast food - give McDs and BK a pass and check out Ted's. It's fried but the batter is tasty and light - not an oily, over-seasoned mess. I can see why... More
