Was excited to go here with my boyfriend after reading some good reviews but we both ended up very disappointed. Service: There was only one other couple in the restaurant and the service was still terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for the bill at the end of our meal.. and I believe that we were falsely charged items because... More

1st time to Troy - I read previous reviews on this restaurant so I was prepared for how unglamorous it looked from the outside. Do not let that stop you!! The food was amazing ! Gina our waitress was helpful with her suggestions and attentive to our needs! The portions are crazy-don't order appetizers because you need room for dinner... More

We found our experience at Lo Porto to be great. They have an extensive Italian menu. There were 4 of us. One person had a glass of wine and the others had soda. The bill came to $120. I found that to be quite reasonable with the quality and quantity of the food we received. The waiter was very pleasant... More

Went a couple nights in the same week while in town to celebrate a college graduation. We had eaten there a couple years ago and couldn't wait to go again. They did not disappoint us! Executive Chef Michael and his home-made recipes were perfectly delicious. Whether you're interested in veal, an interesting vegetarian dish, or a delightful desert, the Chef... More

very authentic Italian food in a comfortable setting. The clams and bread were amazing as a starter. My son had linguini with clams and crab meat that was amazing. I had a veal Sorrentini which was succulent Veal with tomato and Egg plant in an olive an tomato sauce. Each were accompanied with home made pasta. Best Italian in years... More

The restaurant looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, then you open it to a sweet surprise. We had a large party and ate upstairs. The restaurant prides itself on being the best at making veal, so I ordered it. Many places make it so the veal is tough. Not here! The meat was tender, the sauce... More

This is not my first review of this restaurant! Each time I go my meal is better than the last time! I am completely hooked on the champagne chicken. But my husband got the veal and he said it was tender and delicious. It gets a bit loud inside, but the Italian flair is charming! Kind of like a little... More

Judy & I were on our way to Sarotoga Springs when we decided to stop in Troy where Judy went to colledge(Russel Sage). We checked out the comments on Trip Advisor and decided to go here. When we first walked in we felt that this was the REAL deal and were we right. The best Italian ever. Richard
