Great local haunt with good wings. I'm not sure I agree with all the hoopla about this being the best place in Troy. It's kind of a dive bar, but the wings are pretty good. Lighting is low, floor is slanted - I guess it's called charm. There are other places in Troy that I would go before I went... More

I've never eaten at the pub but have spent many weekends watching football and eating the take out. Best wings in Troy. Highly recommended

the venue has a strong following..I think they may have been rewarded with the best wings in the capital district and probably deserved it however now they charge double the normal amount for said awesome wings..i do know that their rib special is indeed special and the musical and musician support is exceptional. people tolerate standing room only because the... Wow - the Ale House never ceases to surprise you ... whether it's the underground music scene - see national acts on a Tuesday night in an intimate setting ... or the food. Tonight the special was Mac-n-cheese stuffed meatloaf... for $12! The meatloaf was excellent, just the right ratio of meat to mac-n-cheese, flavored perfectly and with just the... More

We enjoy just about anything the menu offers. Tonight, we split a hot turkey dinner & 5 tequila chipotle wings while listening to Outlet, a terrific band of three ultra talented musicians. We will definitely return.

For me, this is the real birth place of buffalo wings. I usually order 20 wings with my bf. I also like their beers with great variety. They also offer theme nights which give me more choices.

On our way to Vermont for skiing, we used TripAdvisor to find us wings and beer. The Ale House did not disappoint! Kids thought the area was "sketchy" but once we got inside, they were fine. It was just that the snow was dirty, and it was dark.

I visit the Ale House at least once a year for the wings and the beer. I usually get the mediums and my friend gets the "Award winning wings" which smell so hot that I start sweating. Last night they were tremendous. The wings just the right amount of crispness and the sauce was even a little hotter than normal.... More
