For me, this is the real birth place of buffalo wings. I usually order 20 wings with my bf. I also like their beers with great variety. They also offer theme nights which give me more choices.

On our way to Vermont for skiing, we used TripAdvisor to find us wings and beer. The Ale House did not disappoint! Kids thought the area was "sketchy" but once we got inside, they were fine. It was just that the snow was dirty, and it was dark.

I visit the Ale House at least once a year for the wings and the beer. I usually get the mediums and my friend gets the "Award winning wings" which smell so hot that I start sweating. Last night they were tremendous. The wings just the right amount of crispness and the sauce was even a little hotter than normal.... More

The Ale House wins the local wing competitions all the time, their chocolate cake is amazing... the beef is often local, the fish fresh... it's a great bar to enjoy superb beer and excellent food. And in recent years it's increasingly becoming a fantastic live music venue for national acts to perform in an incredibly intimate room. Now they've added... More

The first thing you'll notice is the old bar with the finish coming off - and that might get you wondering. Never fear, the food is terrific - and the wings are the best in the tri-city area. If you're lucky you'll be there on a night when there is live entertainment. The Ale House attracts a lot of local... More

Frequent this place which ahas been a Troy mainstay for God knows how long. Its been a great blue collar type bar and restaurant for generations. Very friendly staff and patrons. Personally I go there for the old half and half on rye. A soup a tea and ham and swiss does it for me. The soups are always good... More

One of our favorite bands was playing at The Ale House in Troy so we decided to make the 3 hour trip to see them and visit Troy for the first time. I had ordered tickets for the show from the Ale House itself and was a little nervous that they would be waiting for me. Our hotel courtesy shuttle... More

Cool neighborhood bar up front, really (really) good food in back. The wings seem to win awards around town; I can see it. They are excellent as was the hot roast beef sandwich. Great food, the drinks are priced right, and the place has a good down-home feel. People looking for a nice dining area or a country club feel... More
