Excellent Chinese food in a sit down setting. The food here is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always very accommodating.

I dined with a group of 8 a couple of days after Christmas. I made reservations a week or so before for 12, then called to change it that day. Once people began to arrive, there was more confusion about the number. The hostess was so patient as we counted and recounted and made phone calls. As always, the food... More

This is some of the best chinese food I have had to date. They immediately bring you out hot tea and chinese noodles with two dipping sauces. We had the sesame chicken and beef chow fun. the seasme chicken is amazing, some of the best I've had in my life. The beef chow fun was also very flavorful. Service was... More

We decided to try this place after a few years of hearing how "great" it was. Well, let me tell you, it was less than great. First of all, there was no hostess on a Saturday evening. Server was nice but was too quick to remove plates ......while some of us were still eating. (I hate that...such poor manners.) DH... More

The Plum Blossom has been under construction from before I moved to this city 23 years ago. It has been lovingly and carefully created and recreated by the always-smiley and friendly owner and his one artisan. I love to see what has been crafted since the last visit while waiting for the food which is consistently good. They do a... More

This is a landmark on Route 7 in Troy heading east toward Vermont. Food is consistently good, whether you are eating in or take out. Staff is friendly and efficiient. This is our go to place for celebrations and when friends come to visit. Highly recommended.

We stopped in and were welcomed and seated even though we did not have reservations for a Saturday night. The inside is so lovely. Lots of ornate woodwork with a quiet, elegant feel. Husband and I had an intimate table for two. The waitress brought hot tea, fried noodles, good duck sauce and pickled cabbage for a starter. I ordered... More

From the outside, it looked as if the restaurant were under construction, so we were a little surprised to find it open. Our soups tasted like warm water without much seasoning. The duck in lettuce leaves was tasty, but not a lettuce wrap, as the menu indicated. The Xian lamb was fine. The cod in the seafood dish was battered... More

The Plum Blossom is the only place my husband and I go for Chinese food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the owners are lovely people. The food is exceptional and the service is always first rate.

Been going here for decades, and it's undisputably the best in the Troy area. The food and atmosphere are great. Sometimes there are not enough wait staff (our only complaint). The servers themselves are very friendly, competent, and knowledgable, there just usually aren't quite enough of them.
