My nose led me to this eatery. It actually made me stop right in my tracks. I stood there for a few moments then continued my walk. I wasn't hungry yet. I continued my walk about of downtown Troy which is absolutely beautiful and a photographers dream come true. There was no thinking involved when I did get hungry. I... More

Went to breakfast with several friends. I had been there with my wife's class reunion gang and the food was so-so, so I didn't have high expectations for breakfast- until I saw the menu. They offered a variety of unusual choices like a seared salmon and asparagus omelet. I went for the challa bread french toast with blueberries in syrup.... More

I have enjoyed lunch here often....tried it for dinner, what a mistake! The menu is brief and the selections quite odd. We started with the mushroom fondue which was really a gray colored dip with bread slices to soak up the liquid and giant mushroom pieces floating in it. The steak entrée was displayed in an unattractive manner on the... More

Marla always has something new and interesting to try. we have been here dozens of times and only was it less than excellent. it is one of the places I can take someone new to the area and know they will be impressed. We go with grandkids for weekend brunch, lunch with business acquaintances, or for a quiet dinner as... More

I had an expiring Groupon to use, so called for a reservation....a smart move on a summer Saturday evening. We were impressed right from the start. Although the building is old, the woody decor is very nice. We shared the Artisan cheese plate appetizer. We had just dug into it, and our meals....Kobe beef burgers....arrived. So, we put the cheese... More

This is a truly mixed review. I shall begin with the positives. In general the limited menu is imaginative, bordering on pretentious at times. For the most part, the food was above satisfactory. It was quite good. Service was slow and spotty. The ambience was forgettable. No convenient parking, but in a nice location near the River Street art galleries... More

Stopped here for brunch after a visit to RPI. Adorable little cafe with plenty of street parking outside. My sister had the duck omelet, and I had the eggs benedict. Both were delicious. Good service, and cute decor. I would definitely eat here again.

The food is nicely prepared in this cafe. And the atmosphere is great, too. The front room has the feel of a European cafe with small tables, dark wood, a giant mirror, and muraled walls. There are a couple of additional dining rooms in the rear that have their own unique charm, although I think they could eliminate some of... More

Went on Troy's Night Out. Enjoyed the outside venue, food was very good and locally grown. Only serves wine or beer but dessert was the best.

Love the unique menu. Not a lot of choices (which is good for me). Right in downtown Troy. My favorite is eggs Benedict with bacon and the tarragon hollandaise sauce.
