We went to Daisy baker's because it is directly across from the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall where we were scheduled to see an 8:00 performance. We had been here before and always enjoyed ourselves. Large group on 8, they were happy to accommodate us. When I called for reservations they suggested a half hour earlier to ensure we would... More

Four of us went to dinner at Daisy Baker's before a show at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, just across the street. We are from out of town so our decision to go to Daisy Baker's was based primarily on its convenient location to the music hall and also reviews on TripAdvisor. We were sorely disappointed and next time... More

Troy is on the comeback and these folks are leading the way. Good cocktails and a great wine list. Menu has a wide enough variety to please a large and diverse group.

We sat at the bar for a bit, great bartender. The wine and bourbon selections were excellent. We had the calamari as an appetizer a the bar, really good and unique with sweet peppers and scallions. For dinner we started with the Ceasar salad, fresh and delicious. I had the shrimp and pasta which was loaded with eggplant, proscuitto, shrimp... More

When walking into this restaurant you are brought back in time as you make your way through the historical lobby of this old townhouse in downtown Troy, NY. The decor is authentic and beautiful. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and its ingredients. The wine list is extensive and having been unfamiliar with one of the... More

Really beautiful interior. Interesting and well executed entrees. Was here for small banquet recently and everything was flawless.

We went there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from RPI. The menu has creative choices using interesting ingredients. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. My only downside comment is that for meat, ie steaks, the portion size is way too big. We decided to share a meal because 16 ounces of steak was way too much. They did not... More

We ate here last night, and we both found the food excellent. Early Saturday evening, before the concert across the street, so it was busy, but the service didn't suffer. My wife had the salmon, which she loved, and I had the chicken. Now, I order chicken about as often as the Cubs win the World Series, partly because I... More

After reading reviews and being a bit hesitant from the negative reviews, we decided to try Daisy Bakers anyway; we're very glad we did. We had tickets to a show across the street so we wanted the convenience of parking once. The place was lovely. It was early for dinner on a Saturday night (6 pm) but the place was... More

I ate here based on a newspaper review and the mis-reading of the Yelp reviewers. My friend told me it wasn't a very good place, but had changed and was now getting great reviews. We went for dinner. We were the fifth table to sit in what was a lovely church previously with organ pipes at the far end. Woodwork,... More
