A little gem

Muza is tucked into an awkward location but has made the best of it. Polish/European food lovingly prepared and efficiently served at a great price. Stuffed cabbage , pieroges, potato pancakes, kielbasa, etc. Well worth the trip.

I wanted to like Muza so much. An old school family run ethnic place. The kind of place than beckons you out of the cold winter night with the glow of soft lights, well worn wood and Chachkies on the walls. The promise of really special grandmotherly food served with love. We arrived and, after a while were greeted by... More

Charming restaurant with a great atmosphere and authentic European food. Seating is limited, but food definitely worth the wait. A beer garden upstairs provides a great spot to wait. Portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Frequented by Troy locals and RPI students.

An intimate family atmosphere just added to the quality of the food. Everything was fresh and handmade, either on premises (or, in the case of the kielbasa, made locally).

Muza is a longstanding Troy favorite for Eastern European style foods. By far the BEST stuffed cabbage I've ever had. They recently opened The Hill at Muza, an indoor/outdoor beer garden built into the hills behind the restaurant. One of my new favorite hangouts in Troy! Cool vibe filled with fun people. A must when in Troy. Enjoy!

Went there for the first time and was very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. Between my wife and I we sampled a lot of the Polish specialties, and they were all excellent. Service was also very prompt and friendly, and I thought the prices were very reasonable.

We took my son and his friends from RPI for dinner. Where we live there aren't any Eastern European restaurants; if I lived anywhere near Troy, I'd go to Muza on a monthly basis. We split the Muza Special: beef goulash between two potato pancakes, with a side of sauerkraut, and I could barely finish. Others enjoyed stuffed cabbage and... More

Had dinner with my wife and 7 week old son. We asked to be seated at the counter because the table area was tight and we didn't want our son to disturb anyone. Decent beer selection (all bottles). Had the vegetable salad app which probably should be called a potato salad, but it was very tasty. Entree portions are VERY... More

My daughter and I ate here when I was moving her into RPI. The kitchen is very small and the waits can be long but the food is really good. We had a 1/2 order of potato pancakes as an appetizer and then my daughter had pirogi's and I had a pork schnitzel with an egg on top. both were... More

Muza was definitely authentic! We enjoyed pierogis, kielbasa, sauerkraut and potato pancakes for our oversized dinner. While this isn't fine dining, it'll definitely fill you up (and then some)! Service was outstanding, and we even got to meet the chef briefly. The family pride shows through in the restoration work the owners have done to the property, and this is... More
