Description: The chefs and owners of Torches Restaurant have now opened a new BBQ place...
The chefs and owners of Torches Restaurant have now opened a new BBQ place right on Ellicott Creek, in the City of Tonawanda. They use homemade rubs, a water churned smoker they builit themselves, and plenty of inovative recipes. JJ and Kevin Richert , Owners and Executive Chefs of Torches Restaurant on Kenmore Ave. in Buffalo, and their creative brother, Mark Richert, are the creators, owners and chefs. There is outdoor seating on the 2 story deck, tables inside, along with a one of a kind bar. All food is of exceptional quality!!!!!

A Gem!

The place is very small, but very friendly and great service. I think we had the most amazing burger ever, made of ground sirloin, chuck and brisket, then smoked and, as the chef (JJ) said "kissed on the grill" - all served on a grilled pretzel roll. We also had an amazing appetizer called the... read more

Decent smoke wood fired sandwich, bit pricey for the area/location. Parking can be difficult as limited spaces.

All meats are smoked right there and they have some tasty sandwiches and meals. Great to sit outside on a nice day and enjoy it.

Had lunch with a number of colleagues who had spoken very highly of this location - and it didn't live up to the hype. Had a beef brisket sandwich with cole slaw and voodoo fries. The brisket was good, nothing special, but there was very little of it on the sandwich. Same with the slaw - a dab of top... More

Man, I almost hate telling people about this place. It always feels like "our" place ya know? This is the place to unwind with a drink or three and some killer food at the end of the week! Even in the dead of winter, this place has an island-ey vibe, with it's reggae music and incredible mixed drinks! We always... More

Food is great here, with a surprising wide variety for such a small restaurant, especially if you like barbecue. It was a little cramped, but service was good. Parking is terrible, though. We've been here four times and have had to park across the street. Best to drop off people traveling with you and only have one person battle the... More

This is an interesting place as it was run by a professional chef who has won numerous awards. The menu is simple as it includes chicken and beef and pork. The meat I ordered was good but did not like the sides/ I wished for coleslaw and something other than the potatoes given but would still recommend it as overall... More

Okay so parking isn't the easiest but you can park on the street and just walk down a block to smoke on the water... or better yet have a boat and pull up next to their lower dock. We went on a busy Friday night and there was one table available out on the patio but it was tight and... More

I like to try out different places I've never been and I happened to come across this place on TripAdvisor so my wife and young daughter decided to check it out. As others have mentioned parking is very limited but we had no problem.. We got there around 3:30 and got seated right away, only 3 other tables. The dining... More
