Extraordinary cuisine, nice bar

Pan Zur in Tivoli is an excellent dining experience. We go here often. The menu changes regularly, yet "old favorites" remain available. The Pork Belly is so delicious, I once ordered it for dessert. On my last visit, Ray cooked a rabbit stew that was out of this world! We've yet to have a dish we didn't like. The regularly... More

Tivoli doesn't seem like a food destination, but Panzur seems worth the trek. Primarily tapas/small plates, but also a small selection of full main courses. This was my 3rd trip, and I've had consistently good food. I wouldn't classify myself as a foodie, but like creative executions of favorites, and Panzur met my expectations. This past trip, I had a... More

Some hits (stuffed squid, gambas, unique desserts), some misses (fussy flatbreads) in a serene setting (partially the effect of lighting nearly too low to read menus by...) in ever-hipper Tivoli. Substantially overpriced (or under-portioned - yes, I mean you, manchego!).

From craft cocktails (the dragon juice was amazing) to cheese & charcuterie board to tapas and finally dessert, there was not a single element of this meal that disappointed. The chef's cured duck breast on the charcuterie board was a stand out as were the pickled peppers. Loved all three of the tapas we tried but the octopus was fantastic...tender... More

Tivoli is a cute little town but a little out of the way, although only about 20 minutes from the Catskill/Hudson NY area, and as a result we only recently got to eat at Panzur, and are sorry we have not been going there regularly. As is the case with many of the best new restaurants, the cuisine does not... More

I'm not sure where I read the review of this restaurant, but it was on my must try list, finally made it on our last day in the Hudson valley. When I called for reservations (which were unnecessary) on a Wednesday, I was told that on Wednesday's, a prie fixe dinner was served, and only limited tapas. Very helpful information,... More

If you like food with a Spanish base (or even if you are new to Tapas - meaning appetizers or snacks) this restaurant is a must. There were three in our party, and going a little bit overboard we had 7 Tapas to share. More than enough, as we left completely stuffed and had to skip dessert. Next time we... More
