Description: Pan-Zur is best described as a progressive Spanish restaurant and wine bar with an intense respect for Old World flavors and techniques. Menus evolve seasonally and focus on small plates, tapas, charcuterie and cheeses. Chef Rei and his staff believe in supporting the local food economy and work extensively with local farms and purveyors who are dedicated to natural and organic practices while maintaining the highest of standards in regards to the products used. With seven beers on tap, a selection of boutique liquor cocktails, and of course seasonal sangrias, you'll have an easy time finding what youre in the mood for.

From craft cocktails (the dragon juice was amazing) to cheese & charcuterie board to tapas and finally dessert, there was not a single element of this meal that disappointed. The chef's cured duck breast on the charcuterie board was a stand out as were the pickled peppers. Loved all three of the tapas we tried but the octopus was fantastic...tender... More

Tivoli is a cute little town but a little out of the way, although only about 20 minutes from the Catskill/Hudson NY area, and as a result we only recently got to eat at Panzur, and are sorry we have not been going there regularly. As is the case with many of the best new restaurants, the cuisine does not... More

I'm not sure where I read the review of this restaurant, but it was on my must try list, finally made it on our last day in the Hudson valley. When I called for reservations (which were unnecessary) on a Wednesday, I was told that on Wednesday's, a prie fixe dinner was served, and only limited tapas. Very helpful information,... More

If you like food with a Spanish base (or even if you are new to Tapas - meaning appetizers or snacks) this restaurant is a must. There were three in our party, and going a little bit overboard we had 7 Tapas to share. More than enough, as we left completely stuffed and had to skip dessert. Next time we... More

In Nov I had a birthday celebration for my husband. None of our guests had ever experienced the culinary delights of Panzur and they were not disappointed. Because we were such a large group (36) Chef Rei put together a menu for all palates. We began with appetizers Spanish Dumplings, Balls of Love and pork butter (not real names but... More

Despite a very interesting menu, accommodating and friendly waitstaff and a charming ambiance, we were disappointed by the food. Overall it was over flavored. The croquettes de jamon Serrano were too salty and sitting in a pool of aioli goo, the white beet salad and Fluke were tasty but the gambas were far too garlicky. The patatas bravas were almost... Really interesting variations on tapas. Has to be one of the best in the area. Located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Hudson Valley.

Unusual to find a tapas restaurant in Tivoli. The tapas were Americanized but well done and tasty. Would definitely go back when I return to Tivoli.
