We were truly looking forward to dining once again at this fine establishment only to learn that it had closed down months before.

Beautiful place. first the decor was lovely, very quaint, what you expect from a "bistro" but don't always get. The service was impecable. The menu choices were just wonderful.

The Sandwiches here are incredible! The bread is nice and soft, the cold cuts are fresh and the whole sandwich is prepared with pride. You can just tell! Also, they have a whole selection of their signature sandwiches on the wall, to tempt you and inspire your hungry self further. Looking from the outside, not too sure what you're going... More

We come to the area very often. This is one of our favorite places. The food is always fresh. If its not fresh, they do not have it. Its simple. The people are friendly. They are "kid friendly: even though it is a slightly higher scale restaurant. The owner is lovely. You must try it!!

Having spent New Year’s Eve in Hunter area we found the Tannersville village strangely deserted on the evening of New Year’s Day. We skied the whole day and after descending from the mountains decided to have a nice dinner. Oddly many restaurants in the village were closed. Luckily we found Village Bistro .... it had opened a few minutes before... More

It's a very pretty restaurant, cozy and inviting. The bread and roast pepper dip was very good. I ordered the pierogi and asked the waiter if they were homemade...he said yes. I was very disappointed because they were exactly like Mrs. T's that you get in the supermarket. They were not homemade. My husband had the lasagne. It was OK.... More

My Fiance and I were visiting Hunter Mountain and this restaurant was recommend to us by our InnKeeper at the Fairlawn Inn. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. My favorite part of dinner was the red pepper infused oil and hot bread. We also ordered shrimp cocktail appetizer that seemed to be very fresh. My... More

All is good! We had pasta and it was wonderful. Fresh ingredients in a lovely setting. Save room for dessert! Service was great! Would return.

I was really looking forward to this meal after reading reviews that were previously posted. I often ignore posts regarding slow service, because I find that it all depends on the night that you go to the restaurant. Unfortunately, I do need to comment on the staff, because it did affect our meal. We were seated immediately (we had just... More
