This is not a restaurant. It is a Bakery. The Best bread in Syracuse

The italian bread and rolls at this bakery are beyond comparison. They are by far the best in Syracuse. They have been around forever and everyone that lives in Syracuse knows about Columbus Bakery.

I've been eating this bread since I was a little girl. You should never visit Syracuse without stopping here. No better Italian bread anywhere!

A must for anyone traveling through Syracuse, the bread is the best you'll ever have and don't forget to grab a flat for the ride home.

A vital part of Syracuses culinary scene for years and years. Wonderful breads which you can find served at many local restaurants.

Not a restaurant but a bakery! The aroma of freshly baking bread will draw you in. Have to pick up a few loaves each time we go back to Syr. They don't know how to bake good Italian bread in Indiana. We especially love the flat round loaves.

Not much to look at and hard to find, but the food is great. Pizza kit costs $10 and it's better than any take out. Sandwiches are to die for and the bread is legendary in this area.

Friends and family that move away always ask for it when they come "home" . If you have never had Columbus bread , you should go and pick some up. Sunday after church is a Syracuse tradition..pick... The bread you buy here has no preservatives. It will go stale quickly...if it lasts that long. This is not a restaurant. It is a bread bakery with a deli attached. the deli has wonderful cold cuts and meats. But a true CNYer goes for the bread! You can tell who grew up here by their response to it. LOL

This bakery only bakes the best bread in the country. The bread is always fresh and warm. We usually buy a 'flat bread' to eat on the way home from the bakery
