We stop here a few times a year. The place is always paced, but the ice cream is sooooo good. Last time I had watermelon sherbet and it was so refreshing. They always have a great selection of flavor sand I love that they offer a kiddie cone size. Too many places sell you a high priced small cone that... More

Frequently, after having supper across the street at “Luigi’s Italian Restaurant” (See my review) or from another excursion, we stop off at this “famous Valley Icon” for some ice cream. This is another tradition that my family comes to on every visit back to the “homeland” from California. This little shop is situated in the “valley” and outside of the... More

Yes, the ice cream is very good, but Gannon's is more than an ice cream shop. It's a joint, a local gathering place, a summertime ritual. We used to like going inside and experiencing the psychedelic wall murals and paintings of local artist J.P. Crangle, but Gannon's recently blew away all of his artwork much to our dismay. So now... The Ice cream was pretty great and the staff is very friendly. The lines however are outrageous and the prices aren't the best for an ice cream cone, but its worth it.

Gannon's serves quality, homemade ice cream. Nothing to write home about, but still yummy. My favorite is cookies and cream, though the pumpkin french vanilla twist was delicious as well.

We don't get to Gannon's too often, as we live on the other side of town. This past weekend, we were out for a drive, and since it was a nice sunny day, we stopped. Their prices are better than the places on our side of town. Their variety of hard ice cream and various creations are very good. I... More

We went to the Gannon's in the valley b/c this one was closed. Went w/ recommendations of peanut butter blast w/ choc. ice-cream - OMG - soo good! And i usu. don't like choc. ice cream! I tried the sea salt ice-cream shake, yummm!!! reminded me of an old fashion butter pecan - great balance of salty and sweet. Caramel... More

This was my first time there today and I have lived in Syracuse, NY for almost 30 years. I have heard nothing but great things about this place, so I thought that I would try it. I really did not think that the staff was very friendly. They seemed like you were bothering them, when asking questions about the products.... More

I have heard so much about this place we drove to try it. If was OK, but there is another place called The Artic Island right down the street with much better Don't feel this as anywhere near as good as all the talk it gets.
