Choosing what to have is the hardest decision you'll make! You won't believe the choices! But, you won't be disappointed in whatever you pick!

I saw this place on Buzz Feed and we drove all the way from Ottawa, ON to check it out. It didn't disappoint. We happened to be there at the same time Eileen, the owner, was working. She was lovely and took such great care of us! Hubby had a banana split that was huge and he enjoyed it. Our... More

Visited Syracuse recently and had just seen something about the ice cream shop that was one of the top ten in the country. I have to agree! Everything is homemade and it tastes it. I tried the sea salt ice cream and even though it sounds odd, it was delicious. Our party was a large one, but we couldn't even... More

Gannon's Isle is a very popular destination to get Ice Cream in Syracuse. All the Ice Cream is homemade with constantly rotating flavors and sometimes truly unique new creations. Now you can get Gannon's Ice Cream all year in downtown Syracuse! I am so exited about this!!!

I have lived in the NYC metro area my entire life yet have never had ice cream as good as Gannon's. Gannon's is better than Stone Cold, Haagen Daz, Carvel, Baskin Robbins & Dairy Cream. There is a reason there are long lines to get served. This place is super popular & rightfully so. They have the largest selection of... More

It's always worth a stop at Gannons for their delightful homemade ice cream. If you're not sure which you want, you can ask for a taste - as many as you like, I think. My favorite is the Sea Salt. If they only added some caramel to the mix, wouldn't that be the tops?! Their single cones are almost too... More

We stop here a few times a year. The place is always paced, but the ice cream is sooooo good. Last time I had watermelon sherbet and it was so refreshing. They always have a great selection of flavor sand I love that they offer a kiddie cone size. Too many places sell you a high priced small cone that... More

Frequently, after having supper across the street at “Luigi’s Italian Restaurant” (See my review) or from another excursion, we stop off at this “famous Valley Icon” for some ice cream. This is another tradition that my family comes to on every visit back to the “homeland” from California. This little shop is situated in the “valley” and outside of the... More

Yes, the ice cream is very good, but Gannon's is more than an ice cream shop. It's a joint, a local gathering place, a summertime ritual. We used to like going inside and experiencing the psychedelic wall murals and paintings of local artist J.P. Crangle, but Gannon's recently blew away all of his artwork much to our dismay. So now... The Ice cream was pretty great and the staff is very friendly. The lines however are outrageous and the prices aren't the best for an ice cream cone, but its worth it.
