Riley' has an ever-changing menu featuring the freshest local specialties, and unique flavor combinations. We have been going there for 20 years, and heave never been disappointed. Great food, wonderful wines, and friendly, attentive staff. The best restaurant in Syracuse for a mid-week dinner, or special evening.

I don't usually like desserts, but their raspberry pie is made with 3 lbs of fresh raspberries. It is amazing. The crust is flaky yet substantial enough to soak up all that raspberry goodness without being soggy! The dinner paled in comparison to dessert! I told the waiter the chef overcooked the fish. The sauce on the fish was pretty... More

I was looking for a nice place to eat before heading to an Orangemen game. I had a very finicky eater and a vegetarian with me so I had quite a task catering to both needs. Well Riley's delivered. We went on a Friday night which features a fish based menu, but also had plenty of choices for meat eaters.... More

Our first experience at Riley's was a few weeks ago and we recently went the other day. This place is truly out of ordinary for Syracuse, but in a positive way. The environment is cozy and intimate with a homey yet sophisticated feel. I was a little put off by our waitress the first time. She rushed us through the... More

Found this charming place on TA for a late dinner. Good thing we had a GPS to find it buried in a quiet neighborhood. Very warm and inviting and not busy when we were there on a Monday evening. The other patrons were obviously regulars sitting at the bar and were a lively friendly group. Limited menu and stuck to... More

We went here while visiting our son who is a Syracuse student. It's a little off the beaten track, truly in the middle of a neighborhood. We were disappointed that a few interesting menu items were sold out but otherwise really enjoyed our food including pork tenderloin in blueberry sauce and pumpkin ravioli. Complimentary cheese and crackers whole waiting for... More

After a long road trip, I like a salad and cold glass of water. Riley's delivered, although the waitress asked me if "that was it" when I order the salad. I don't know why, because it was a huge portion! Riley's is lively and busy, with a close pub atmosphere. It was noisy, but for good value & food, I'd... More

Going back is an understatement. I've gone back to Riley's every time I've been in Syracuse, several times a year lately, more often in the past. Yes they do close for awhile at some point of the year--alas; but they need a vacation too. Had the salmon and salad with Walter White's dressing and a fine Cab the other Saturday... More

This neighborhood spot is one of the best Syracuse has to offer. The Riley family and especially the chef take great pride in their creative menu which changes daily. A must stop

Riley's was a great dinner. The food was delicious, and a great selection of seafood. I would not be happy if I was just in for the weekend, since the restaurant is closed Saturdays and Sundays. Be advised! But if you're in Syracuse duing the week, totally worth it.
