Been gone from the 'Cuse many moons...back for family matter. Stayed on "the hill" for old time sake. Man, has the place changed...maybe we are getting old...wow Faegans showed up in late 70's...old time feel of wood, pub like but a cut above...many memories from"back in the day". So wanted to have some grub The wife and I met an... More

About a 15 minute walk from the Parkview Hotel. Lots of different craft beers and ciders. We tried the Cowboy Caviar dip as an appetizer before dinner and it was delicious!

We had lunch at Faegan's. Our server was friendly and helpful, she recommended the white chili, that was delicious. We also had the nachos that were very good.

Was close, had a Reuben, was good, didn't blow me out of the water. People were nice. Next time when people do takeout, napkins should be in the bag!

This place is nothing fancy, but it has a good selection of beer and food at reasonable prices. We went early in the evening - the service was very good, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. If we visit Syracuse again, we'll definitely go to Faegan's.

Lively, fun atmosphere. Open Lunch through dinner with a large menu. The skillet corn bread was crispy and warm. Lots of TVs to follow sports.

My daughter and I just recently ate at this restaurant. Wea re obviously not from upstate NY because we had never heard of salt potatos. The waitress highly recommended them and she did not stear us wrong. They were terrific. We also had a house salad which was plenty for 2 to share. My daughter had the pulled pork which... More

Cruised by here after work and found a parking spot which might have been difficult during the Syracuse University school season. There were several diners outside eating and an almost full restaurant inside. I was quickly greeted by a guy and gal as I walked in and opted to sit at a bar side table. The exterior looked fairly old... More

I can honestly say that I had no idea until this trip that Faegan's served food. After a long day of travel, I decided to order the Kobe beef burger, because how many time can you get Kobe beef for $12? Maybe it was the Guiness added to the burger, but it just didn't have the rich flavor I've come... More

Faegan's bar is a great place to start out the night. Every Wednesday night, they hold Flip Night, where you flip a coin to earn your beer for free. The atmosphere is enjoyable and is quiet enough to be able to chat with friends. If you want more action, I recommend hopping over to another popular bar on SU campus.... More
