Great food.

Had not eaten in this restaurant for quite some time but were driving by and decided to stop in for dinner, There was not much of a crowd, and we were greeted and seated right away. We have eaten at Casa di Copani on a number of occasions with mostly good results. However, we made the mistake of going there for dinner Sunday, which happened to be Mother's Day. They were short-staffed, screwed up our order, had nasty radio music blaring through the speakers, and shrunk portion sizes. The hostess "lost" our reservation, despite the fact... More

Found this restaurant while searching local while staying at the Hampton Inn, East Syracuse. Hotel staff hadn't tried it , but I prefer family run establishments over chains any day. While waiting for our table, had a drink at the bar, very friendly and helpful bartender. The hostess, when she had a free moment came to speak with us and... More

I have to start by saying that this restaurant has the best calamari I've ever tasted. Period. I live near Buffalo, but would advise that this restaurant is worth the stop if driving through or visiting Syracuse. Excellent service. Tremendous food. You will be welcomed, served a great and generous meal in an old school Italian restaurant in a comfortable... More

Casa di Copani's is a rare but genuine place to eat! Ive been going there off and on over the 16yrs. One thing that hasnt change is that spark of true italian dining. Theres so many dishes that are tops, that i cant just pick one that is my fav. but the menu does highlight recommendations. I enjoy eating at... More

Went there for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Place was not too busy. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. Seated, and drinks came out quickly. All specials explained in detail. The meal, from appetizers to entrees, to desserts was very good. We live across town, and don't get there that often, but every time it is well worth the trip.

We visited Casa frequently when we lived in Syracuse and recently visited again to satisfy a craving when we were in town. Their food is reliably good, and service is always very friendly. Casa isn't a white tablecloth place, but it is much nicer than all the Italian chains. My favorite dishes are the homemade fried mozzarella appetizer - big... More

We were passing through, staying nearby. The restaurant nearest the hotel was overflowing,so quickly looked up something else that was close. All four of us were thrilled with the re-direct! The hostess quickly seated us, and our waiter,Chico, was attentive, fun and efficient. The best part was the menu was more appealing and MUCH more reasonably priced than the first... More

Hosted a retirement party at Casa di Copani for my wife last Saturday night. We planned a family style meal for 25 and it could not have been more delightful. Guests have been raving about the food, atmosphere and incredibly attentive service from Michael. I started planning three months ago working with Nora at the restaurant and the flexibility with... Forget Olive Garden. If you want the real deal, skip the franchises lining Erie Boulevard and head out to Burnet Ave. for Casa di Copani, one of the few remaining family-owned, Italian restaurants in Syracuse. On our last visit, our party enjoyed warm homemade bread just out of the oven, an absolutely sublime appetizer of Stuffed Olives, and entrees of... More
