We eat at 1060 Genesee Grand often. It is a great place for a special dinner. Formal dining room dinners are very good. If you are looking for a bargain, go on Tuesdays and enjoy half price appetizers at the bar. There are tables and couches for a nice, informal, reasonably priced treat. The bar is a wonderful place to... More

Stayed here at Genesee Grand for a conference - nice style smallish rooms, but the lunch special - soup & sandwich for $11 was spectacular! Instead of just a canned soup and beef sandwich, ended up with made-that-day beef rice & caramelized onions delicious brew, coupled with extra large wheat-sub thin sliced rib-eye, coupled with caramelized onions, provolone cheese, topped... Have eaten here several times while staying at the hotel for work conferences. Food has been consistently good for both lunch and dinner. Certainly worth eating here if you are staying at the hotel.

We were staying a couple of blocks away at the Hotel Skyler (a sister hotel to the Genessee Grande) and this was recommended to us as a place to go for dinner. We sat in the bar area and the ambience and atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and reminded me of a cosy pub back home in the UK.... More

The restaurant was small but the food was excellent. We stayed at the Genesee Grande for 2 nights, and went for a breakfast and dinner at the 1060 Restaurant. Both excellent meals and the service was great too. The chef came out to meet us after dinner, which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're staying... More

Had lunch there. Had an excellent Cobb Salad. Prices were very reasonable. Love the mahogany charming décor. Drinks were very reasonable. Service was a little slow, but they were quite crowded.

We had a nice dinner alfresco (on their terrace). The food was good but not more. Entrees are around $30 (steak or fish) which is a bit pricey for what you get. My scallops were OK. Service was fine. The good thing is that you can eat outside which seems to be rare in Syracuse (not many patio). That's what... More

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts - all were amazing! The restaurant rivals 5 star restaurants that I have visited.

We wound up here by accident and it was one of our best in Syracuse. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. The decor is warm and lovely and you have the option of dining outside. The food is fresh and there are many options for vegans, carnivores and fish lovers in addition to pasta and sandwiches.
