We used to love coming to this restaurant, but our last few visits were disappointing. Ordered prime rib - over cooked and short on flavor, baked potato tasted like a leftover from a few days ago. Salad was usual fare. Service OK.... portions are large, price is right, but I'd rather have a good tasting meal. Landmarks sometimes need to... More

Large portions, great food, price is right. Expect left overs. Service is fast. Family atmosphere. Will go again.

They may give large portions but the food was bad. Our steaks had no flavor. My husbands French fries tasted like fish. My mashed potatoes were like eating a salt lick. We joked when we left about how the best part of our meal was the soda. Never the less our dogs enjoyed our porter house steaks. Our waitress was... More

Best Italian platter and Chicken parm anywhere. Very resonable, family attmosphere, and friendly staff. I would strongly recommend this Syracuse landmark.

We've eaten before at Dominck's and found it a good-value, moderately-priced family restaurant. This evening was an exception perhaps because they were understaffed or training new kitchen help. The server was harried, and did not stop at the table to ask about the entries for which we had waited an unusually long time. The fish was luke warm and dry.... More

arrived at 4:40 4/21. altho place was almost empty we were seated at a small table for 2 in the bar. We've done that before and if still eating salad when meal arrived, it's crowded.Asked for a larger seat and went to the other side of the restaurant. We left at 5:05, not a single person acknowledged that we were... More

My daughter called to make reservations about an hour prior to going here. She was told that they don't take reservations and that the place wasn't busy at all. By the time we got there, the place was overflowing with people to the point that even though they have a very large parking, cars were spilling into lots of other... More

Dominick's is large and able to accommodate a group. Portions are generous. It's a good place to go if you are into volume; but you do get quantity over quality. It's not bad but neither is it great. Very filling, pretty good value for the money but not great. Yup, banquet food.

Pros: Excellent, friendly, professional service. Clean dining room and bathroom. Large portions. Great macaroons (huge and yummy!). Wonderful bread. Tender chicken. Cons: as one other poster said, "quantity, not quality, but not too bad." Also, the carpet in the dining room looks old and you can see every little thing that has fallen to the floor. They have a nice... More

Dominick's has been in Syracuse for a very long time & even though I was born & raised in the city, I had never eaten there. At Christmas time I visited my mother and a small group of friends met there for dinner. No reservations were needed but the place was packed. We were seated very quickly & it appeared... More
