The Shepherds Pie is to die for. So tasty! The atmosphere is almost always hopping in the pub area but more subdued in the dinning room. I do recommend you do not go during an Irish Holiday- St. Patrick's Day the place is a zoo! The corn beef and cabbage can be worth it though. We had the steaks this... More

I wasn't allowed to visit the pub (boo!) but the atmosphere seemed very lively and convivial as we walked in. Instead, my daughter steered me in the direction of the restaurant where we enjoyed a really good evening meal. The fish and chips were up to UK standards and while the appetiser of calamari was a bit flavourless, the chicken... More

We recently were in Syracuse. We happened to go here twice. First time it was quiet and not much atmosphere. Second time the place was packed and the atmosphere was fantastic The food was tasty. The highlight for me was the ice cold Magners cider The staff are friendly. Great place to stop by for a great traditional pub feel

We went for dinner at 7:30. Sadly, a group of 12 or 14 young people had arrived earlier and had been drinking for awhile. By the time we arrived, their chatter was at screaming level. The management did ask them to keep it down but that lasted about 10 minutes or less. Our meal lasted less than an hour as... More

We enjoyed our appetizers and beer. We had the chicken wings and the fried ruben (corn beef) poppers. They had great selection of beers and we recommend to try the locally brewed Syracuse beer. Great service!

We were here in February as SU played at Duke. Big and noisy crowd. Packed. It was difficult to muscle up to the bar and there was a fair wait for a table. It was entertaining. Happily , the service was good and so was the food. The meatloaf was great and is recommend. The fish and chips were just... More

My mom passed away on May 13. She was from Ireland and 105 years old. On May 15 and after her funeral the whole family went here to celebrate her life. Jameson, Guinness, Shepards Pie and family memories. Couldn't have been better!!!
