This place has all of the standard Irish fare you would expect in an Irish pub. Nice authentic woodwork, Guinness poured the correct way, and some classic dishes. I guess it was my mistake to try something different where I wasn't very impressed. I had a flatbread with smoked gouda and mozzarella cheese with poblano peppers. No spice and it... More

The food was marginal, but having traveled through Ireland, the food can be bland, so i consider this place average. The drinks however, were really good, Dublin mule was great!

On the outside, Kitty Hoynes is an ordinary building, but through the doors, suddenly, you are transported to a spectacular old Irish pub. Filled with laughter, Irish food, and music, Kitty Hoynes is an excellent spot to feel like the Irish country side is right outside the window. Old and young people gather to eat, drink listen to Irish music... More

We actually tried to go to a different place but it had a 45 min. wait line so we went to Kitty Hoynes instead. What a great discovery! It looks like Ireland and tastes like Ireland; friendly service and great food.

We stopped for lunch after a few days in the Finger Lakes. Irish cannonballs started our meal and were enjoyed by all at the table. Portions are not small! The lamb burger was grilled to perfection as was the hamburger. The others at the table enjoyed their Galway sandwich - Irish ham and cheese grilled and topped off with Guinness... More

Went to this restaurant based on other reviews and was not disappointed. We got there around 7:00 pm on Friday night. The place was busy but we were able to get a table outside which was great. The drink selection was good. We ordered the irish cannonballs which were tasty but heavy. We found the batter was just too heavy.... More

We had reuben fritters and Shepherd's pie and it was quite good-the marinated pork had a hint of added flavor-excellent quality meat-overall very solid-it would be nice to have a bit more flavor in their food, but everything is made with care.

I wrote "Kitty Hoynes, Triple D, Irish Cannonballs, Syracuse" in my travel journal several years ago. I finally made it. We went to Kitty's after the zoo and before a ball game for a bit of refreshment. Of course we had the cannonballs and a Guinness. Come on - it's an Irish Pub. Cannonballs are Reuben Fritters and make my... More
