Go for authentic Italian

The delicious and authentic Italian food is some of the best in Syracuse (if not the best) with very affordable prices. But that is about it. Ambiance is boring - old and outdated, one large room that is dark and tired. Wait staff have been there forever and act like they are stuck in a rut and... read more

I was skeptical at first, because the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. The servers all wore plastic gloves, which I thought to be slightly odd for a sit-down restaurant. In fact, it took a solid fifteen minutes before we even saw our server to begin with; granted, it was the lunch rush and quite busy, but I couldn't... More

We came into this place as a new customer and left feeling better than we have felt ever before. Large amounts of food for cheap prices. Not a fancy place but has some of the best Italian you could ever have. I live three hours from this place and have gone 3 times in a month. It's incredible. Couldn't be... More

I am visiting Syracuse on a business trip and asked the locals where I can get a good Italian meal. This was one of the highest recommended so me and my boyfriend traveling with me decided to try it out! The neighborhood is not the best by far. The building looks deceiving and the parking is not great. When you... More

Eating here is like eating at grandma's house. It's the Italian family you never had. The red sauce is phenomenal and the service is great. The portion sizes are large and the prices small. It is the perfect plac for kids. Expect a long wait on any given Friday or Saturday. We like to hit lunch because the lines are... More

Angotti's restaurant always has great food. It isn't fancy but the food is always consistently good. The wait staff are good at their jobs and friendly. The eggplant parm is one of my favorite dishes. They make one of the best and cheapest pizzas in town. I buy their sauce by the quart and stock it in my freezer as... More

This is a classic family Italian restaurant. The Calzones are amazing and HUGE. I love the salad and really any classic dish is solid. The ambiance is not why you go there. I went with a large group and everyone left happy and most with leftovers!

Haven't been to this restaurant in over 20 years and decided we wanted reasonable and big sized portions. Like everyone says in their reviews, "no frills" that's for sure, but acceptable and genuinely nice servers. Their tomato sauce is quite plain, not a lot of spices, etc. I prefer a richer, garlicy sauce. Kind of reminds me of Joey's sauce... More

The best no frills Italian in Syracuse. The Angotti Family have never dissapointed us. Large portions of wonderful home style favorites at excellent prices. Great for take out too!
