I stopped and purchased a corned beef on dark rye sandwich...my favorite deli sandwich. It was HUGE... Enough for two easily. I had lettuce, tomato, onion and thousand island dressing. I must say that it was the biggest and best corned beef sandwich I ever had. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. It came with pickle slices. I... More

While not normally a fan of delis, the Brooklyn Pickle is SO much more than that. From the *hugest* sandwiches imaginable (freshest meats, incredibly fresh breads of all types, condiments, etc.) they also have fantastic chili, a special hot selection daily, etc. And their mac salad? THE BEST!!!!

Top quality and very inexpensive, considering the large portions you get. The Ruben sandwich is delicious,

this was recommended by a customer - a little out of our way but so glad we went. Very modern and very efficient staff. The sandwiches are HUGE! We split the corned beef on rye and were stuffed. This is a must stop - priced right - not expensive for what you get. Best sandwich of the year (so far)!

One of the best places for sandwiches and for sure the best fish stew in the area. I Hve been here many times and love it.

The sandwiches are the best in Syracuse. They are HUGE! Even their "half sandwich" is bigger than a full sandwich other places. And they put so much meat on the sandwiches. Everything tastes very fresh. It does get super crowded during lunch time, but the line goes quick.

I remember the Brooklyn Pickle from the old days when the sandwiches were piled high on large oval slices of real quality bread. My favorite was Corned Beef on Rye with Thousand Islands, or what we used to call Russian back in the day. I've never experienced anything like those sandwiches anywhere else since then. I've been to the Brooklyn... More

There are two Brooklyn Pickle sandwich shops in the Syracuse area and, because we had out of town visitors, we visited them both on consecutive days. My review applies to both, as the two locations were virtually identical with respect to food and service, although a bit different in size and construction. If, like me, you have been to delis... We have been going to The Brooklyn Pickle for decades.....both on Burnet Avenue and West Genesee Street in Syracuse, NY. We went there recently and I was surprised to see that they have raised their prices AGAIN. A whole corned beef sandwich is now well over $8.00. The best part is.....the meat was not fresh. We got them to go... More

Finally made it to the Brooklyn Pickle while in town for work. Initially tried to go for lunch, but the crowd inside was too much, and the place was not what I expected, so I left with plans to try again for dinner. For those who don't know, as I didn't, this place is not sit-down service, but a "corral-style"... More
