We stopped there today after a meeting in Syracuse. The person at our meeting suggested this sandwich place. Her recommendation was great. The parking lot was crowded however there is plenty parking for the a hungry crowd. Also, inside the restaurant there is an ample supply of seating with some... read more

Sandwiches are good... BUT! when you come from the tri-state area, prepare to get confused and get weird looks when you assume they serve Boars Head! LOL... I can't even begin to comprehend how the owner thought to include Brooklyn in the name when there aren't even HEROS on the menu. Yes, it's called a hero, not a sub!! I... More

Stopped in for some lunch and wow, bring your appetite! The sandwiches are huge and there is a decent variety of subs and snacks as well. I ended up getting the Cajun Turkey special (half portion) on pumpernickel rye and was pleased with what I got. the bread was delicious and they certainly give you your fair share of meat.... More

Stopped for a corned beef on rye recently and was shocked at how high their prices went up! That's all I ordered .....one corned beef on rye sandwich. I paid with a ten dollar bill and got only a few coins back in change. If I had ordered a beverage & side (macaroni salad, potato salad, or cabbage salad) it... More

This busy establishment (beware of lunch hour crowds) is a favorite of locals looking to grab a sandwich. The selection is diverse, service speedy and the prices reasonable. Have tried many of their sandwiches and subs over the years and found them to be tasty, with the exception of the pickles they slide into every wrapping. The aptly named Brooklyn... More

The Burnet Ave location had plenty of customers in line when I visited mid-day on a weekend. The line moved pretty quickly, and a young woman took my order for a half sandwich. She didn't write anything down, and had to ask me repeatedly what I wanted. The whole wheat bread was nice and fresh; the veggies were a combo... More

We haven't been to the Brooklyn Pickle in about two years. My son-in-law says he doesn't go there anymore because the food is not up to par and the prices are way too high. Well, we didn't believe him and we paid the price. Not only was our whole tuna sandwich on pumpernickel horrible (way too mushy), but the bread... More

Excellent New York deli style sandwiches. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very quick. Gets very busy at lunch but line moves quickly.
