Casual red sauce Italian with great pizza

If you're fond of pizza with lots of toppings, this is your kind of place! Their Utica greens are excellent, too, as is the pasta and meatballs. Not a fancy place at all, nor is it expensive. Just an great little red sauce Italian place that's been there for decades.

I have not been here for a long time. We were in the area, so we stopped in. A small neighborhood place. No wait, The staff was friendly, and fast. Portions are huge, enough for 2-3 servings. Linguine with red clam sauce was very good, the baked ziti came with two monstrous meatballs. Both were very tasty, but had to... More

Huge portions. Super delicious. Very friendly staff. Went there to try the eggplant parm, which was great, would go back again the next time we're in town.

Ordered takeout for the family here and it was delicious. I got the chicken parm, which consisted of two huge chicken cutlets with ample sauce a whole container of pasta, and a salad. It was enough to feed me for 3 nights of dinner! My family enjoyed their meals as well, particularly noting the eggplant parm and meatballs. Great place... More

Luigi's has been around for 60 years and after this visit I can see why. My wife and I enjoyed very good meals here, and as long as you aren't looking for a place with sophisticated touches like cloth napkins and tablecloths or fancy atmosphere, you'll likely have a very satisfying meal here. Our meals started with salads, which came... More

We visited Luigi's for the very first time on a busy Friday night. We were on our way to a play at the local Faith Heritage School, and arrived about 5:00 with our granddaughter in tow. We had heard about the restaurant, wanted a place close to the school, and after checking out Trip Advisor reviews decided to give it... More

The food is great here!! But we struggle to "like" one waitress who pretends to be nice, and she really isn't. A sarcastic person. She is not new, otherwise I'd cut her some slack. On a recent visit we had to ask where our salads were......waited and waited and I knew in a heartbeat that our dinners were going to... More

We went to dinner at Luigi's on an early Saturday night. The two dining rooms were busy, but there were still a few booths left. Minutes after we sat down the waitress was there to greet and take our drink order. She brought our salads and italian bread almost immediately after the order was placed! We ordered chicken cacciatore with... More

It's not much to look at, you may even have trouble finding it, but you better make sure that you do! Always an amazing experience at Luigi's, the entrees are huge and taste phenomenal, the service is always quick, efficient and friendly. I don't go to Syracuse without going to Luigi's!

Pizza is OK with way too much cheese, entre was hidden in sauce, meat was soggy and may have been frozen and premade, Pasta was overcooked, sauce had little flavor, pasta meat was unimpressive, salads were refreshingly fresh. Service was adequate. Overall I'm not impressed.
