Very good food at a small neighborhood restaurant

Luigi's has been around for 60 years and after this visit I can see why. We visited Luigi's for the very first time on a busy Friday night. We were on our way to a play at the local Faith Heritage School, and arrived about 5:00 with our granddaughter in tow. We had heard about the restaurant, wanted a place close to the school, and after checking out Trip Advisor reviews decided to give it... More

The food is great here!! But we struggle to "like" one waitress who pretends to be nice, and she really isn't. A sarcastic person. She is not new, otherwise I'd cut her some slack. On a recent visit we had to ask where our salads were......waited and waited and I knew in a heartbeat that our dinners were going to... More

We went to dinner at Luigi's on an early Saturday night. The two dining rooms were busy, but there were still a few booths left. Minutes after we sat down the waitress was there to greet and take our drink order. She brought our salads and italian bread almost immediately after the order was placed! We ordered chicken cacciatore with... More

It's not much to look at, you may even have trouble finding it, but you better make sure that you do! Always an amazing experience at Luigi's, the entrees are huge and taste phenomenal, the service is always quick, efficient and friendly. I don't go to Syracuse without going to Luigi's!

Pizza is OK with way too much cheese, entre was hidden in sauce, meat was soggy and may have been frozen and premade, Pasta was overcooked, sauce had little flavor, pasta meat was unimpressive, salads were refreshingly fresh. Service was adequate. Overall I'm not impressed.

This was the first time the family went there. The place from the outisde definately looks like you shouldn't go in but the food was great. Pasta was done perfect, the red sauce was pretty good, the meatballs were great (and huge!). My husband even had his favorite.....pasta with anchovy sauce. Everything seemed fresh and the service was great. All... More

My wife and myself recently had dinner at Luigi's, she had heard about this place from people she works with. The Restaurant is not very large but offers very very large portions and very good prices. I had the chicken Marsala, my wife had meatballs with pasta, both dishes were very good with very large sizes, for many you will... More

Awesome food. Fresh as it gets!!! Definitely don't want to miss this place. I tried the fish sandwich and coleslaw. Haddock is incredibly fresh, and you get the whole fillet. Not just sone wimpy 4 or 6 oz filet ....I mean the damn filet. Impossible to finish, but boy is it good. Coleslaw is right on the money, and im... More

Every year we travel back to see our relatives and like “migrating birds” we stop here for a bite to eat. However, in my opinion, the “quality” of the food here has gone down for the past several years. The Italian food used to be very good and I used to say that this was a “hole in the wall... More
