We love this place. We keep going back again and again

This place has a comfortable neighborhood bar atmosphere with a restaurant that never lets us down. The last time we were there we had two kinds of fish, haddock and barramundi, both breaded. There were several fish choices and clams, too, of course. It's not elegant or fancy, just good quality... read more

Finally a decent place to get seafood up here. Fried oysters were nice and fresh and plump not too much batter. Fries were great. Husband got the blackened grouper which was excellent. First time we tried salt potatoes and they were delicious. Came with side salad. Their homemade bread was fantastic which came with garlic butter. Cold draft beer topped... More

Food was good, were able to get a seat quickly (after 8pm on a Saturday night). Waitress was having some issues keeping our table straight with the one across from us but we were all joking about it. Service was good. We had fried clams, steamed clams, soup and sauteed scallops. Food was good - nothing to knock your socks... More

I'd had almost everything else at this local seafood restaurant, but I'd never before tried the crab cakes. They were actually better than I expected, and above the average for most restaurant. I could tell that they contained mostly crab meat, versus the artificial stuff that loads up many restaurants' chain meals. They were nicely fried (or baked), with a... More

Used to eat lunch here when I worked just down the road 2-4 times a week for many years. Moved away in 2008 so this was my 1st visit back since. Amazed that the server remembered me! Chowder and fried clam strips still rocked the way I remembered. Made my day for memories and great food.

It started with the New England style Chowder. Chocked full of clams, Italian Parsley, Butter and yet difficult to describe! Delicious and unique to other chowders I have enjoyed. Be sure to lather up your loaf of bread with the house garlic Butter spread! The steamers were fantastic! Sweet and tender at the same time. An Antipasto Salad for 2... More

This is a small spot near North Syracuse right off of route 11. I had a bowl of clam chowder which was delicious. Then a small Caesar salad. Then the main course was Parmesan crusted Haddock with cheese on top and a marinara sauce with steamed vegetables. It was all great. I recommend this place to everyone.

Recently visited the clam bar on a Sat. night for dinner. We were immediately greeted at the door and promptly seated. Our two dinners included a fish sandwich with onion rings and their famous clam chowder: the large portion of haddock along with the crispy onion rings were served hot and were very tasty. The clam chowder is a must... More

Huge filets of fresh haddock lightly breaded or baked in butter crumbs. Wonderfully light and fresh. Everything filling and well priced.

Crowded eating area-----no room at tables which are close together---seems popular since lots of people there. Met someone from the area there.
