Needs to regain footing

I've been here more often than I can count, for romantic dinners and for office parties, for lunch and for dinner. Yes, it's the best Thai food in Syracuse. At one point I would have said "best food in Syracuse" without a qualifier--but, there are other good options, and Lemongrass is no longer as... read more

We were seated at a small table with a long booth seat, so other diners could have been right next to us, which would have been unpleasant. But it turned out fine as the other diners were in larger parties, so they were at larger tables. Our server, Alex, was busy at first, but soon spotted us, and was knowledgeable... More

I visited Lemon Grass for the first time this weekend. I found it to be very good, and "dressed up" like a fancy restaurant. I didn't think it was overly imaginative, but yet it was excellent Thai food served with authentic spices and vegetables. I enjoyed the curry shrimp dish, which came served in a cast iron frying pan. Once... More

When the waiter offered to have the kitchen tailor any menu item to accommodate a vegetarian, I took him at his word. Imagine my surprise when my request to have tofu added to a salad was met with an icy stare and a stern, "No!" I will spend my money elsewhere in the future. I don't mind spending top dollar... Held a small business Holiday party in their private dining room. The room was set up for a cocktail hour and dinner. Our appetizers of eggrolls, coconut shrimp and lobster dip were great starters. Once we sat down for dinner we ordered more appetizers that were different than our cocktail hour. All were great and a big hit with everyone... More

This is truly an upper level restaurant. The service is always impeccable. The food is delicious with traditional Thai and other more American options. The desserts are visually stunning and incredibly good! It is definitely pricey, but we love going here for special nights out. The atmosphere is very classy but not stuffy. Very clean. They often have outdoor tables... More

We enjoyed out meal at Lemongrass, an upscale Thai restaurant in the Armory Square area. The restaurant serves classic Thai cuisine, but also has other options such as steak and duck. There is something on the menu for everyone, regardless of whether you like traditional Thai food or not. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is billed as one of the best restaurants in Syracuse. I must say I was a bit disappointed for the hype. I ordered a cabernet, but the waiter thought that the blend would be better. It was just okay. For my main meal, based on the server's recommendation,I ordered the Cowboy bone-in ribeye medium rare. I will say... More

We often dine or lunch in Lemongrass. We love Thai food , and this is the one we go when we yearn for Thai food. We have been going to thus particular restaurant for about 18 years. The ones we usually orde are: fish of the day with chilli sauce, king prawns with yellow or green curry, prig prow with king... More

We had dinner at Lemon Grass after a downtown meeting. The menu has grown in size, and the chef has listed all of the items that are gluten-free. But the food is exceptional. We had the Thai beef pot and the Massoman curry. Both were outstanding. Our waitress was exceptionally knowledgeable and explained all of the specials by heart. In... More
