Great BBQ!!

We loved this place!! It had great food and friendly service. It was a long wait to get in but the food was definitely worth the wait!! The prices seen a little high until you see your plate of food and you realize why they are a bit high. Huge portions!!!

Sunday afternoon. Packed house. Half hour wait that became just 20 minutes. A flight of four 4-oz local beer testers and delicious barbeque entrees left our small group satisfied. Cheerful, knowledgeable but busy waitress who called me "Honey". What more can you want? Perhaps the only downside was the noise, which required us to shout in order to converse.

My boyfriend and I went there for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had been told it had the best BBQ by family members. The reviews from diners, drive-in's, and dives were glowing. First, you have to figure out where to go to get on the waiting list. No one tells you. You just have to ask the other customers... More

Went there on a Tuesday night and late Saturday afternoon. Both times it was really crowded. Can order same food at the bar if you can find a seat there. Good food, cool atmosphere.

The ribs here are to die for. I tried a little of everything and loved everything there. The atmostphere is not quiet, but everyone there is having a good time, and loving all the great BBQ that is offered.

Yes there is good BBQ in Syracuse and you will find it here. On a Friday night, you can expect a 45 minute wait. On a weekday night, you might get right in. Either way, it is worth the wait. I sampled several things and here are some recommendations: Peel and Eat shrimp has their Cajun rub. Spicy and good.... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff! We enjoyed our meal had the BBQ ribs, chicken, chicken wings & baked beans as sides all very good as reported by others. We tried the fried green tomatoes which were recommended and we enjoyed buy our whole family. It tasted like deep fried zucchini to me but was cooked perfectly. Our only issue on this... More

Being from Dallas and Memphis, I haven't had high hopes for any BBQ I've had since moving up north. I didn't expect much and so wasn't disappointed when the food was mediocre. Of all the "southern" style BBQ places we have visited, it was evident none had ever actually had southern BBQ to know what it was. I had higher... More

The Dinosaur is much more than a BBQ place. It is a great place to meet friends, have a few beers and unwind. It has a very relaxed atmosphere that is eclectic and entertaining. The staff are very outgoing and they have the best restaurant chili I have ever had.

It was a bustling place, worth the 45 minutes wait. A lot of meat, but the mac & cheese was great. Who needs salad when you have cheese and meat! The server was ok.
