Twisted my arm to go here!

I was pleasantly surprised as I am not a big Mexican food person. It changed when I was able to order some soup and salad, that certainly had a kick to it, but the flavors were excellent. I had a potato with chorizo soup that was delicious along with a salad with many different beans, avocado... read more

This restaurant is so cute! I love their vegetarian and vegan options just as much as heir meat options! I love the cabbage that come with many of their dishes! Yum!

I am typically not a big fan of Mexican, however, Alto Cinco is one of my favorite places. We recently returned to Syracuse for a visit and we made a point of stopping here. I never imagined that they could actually improve on the awesome food they had but, they did!! Only down side - a pesky fly and that... More

We heard great things about the food but not the service. Decided to try it for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed! We went rather early on a Friday night and only waited about 5 minutes for a table. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The guac and chips were tasty, our drinks (pinot grigio and Dos Equis)... More

If you can get a table, you'll be glad that you ate here. The black beans, rice and cornbread are delicious. Healthy, excellent food! Our serverr wasnt the friendliest, but the food made up for that. I would not recommend bringing small children as there is limited space, and depending on the time you arrive, there is no guarantee that... More

The vegan burrito I had was so delicious and ginormous that it was totally worth the price. I do have to say that the server we had was kind of a snarky jerk but I was with good company so it was sort of easy to shirk it off. The bar selection was fab and they give you the most... More

And loving it every time. A little whole in the wall place on Wescott street, with big taste. You can eat in or at the streetside tables, and watch the people and traffic go by. The waitstaff is always pleasant, casual and knowledgeable. The food is consistently delicious, with standard burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salads, but not standard taste or ingredients.... Just had an impromptu lunch with three adults and four young children. Had heard much about this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Not the place for children at all -menu not geared towards anything for kids and the wait time for lunch was extremely long. Three waiters were busy, friendly and working to overcapacity. Quesadillas were tasty,... More

Loaded with cabbage on top and swimming in sour cream or some other sauce, I questioned if they forgot the mahi. Low and behold I saw a small piece the size of a quarter at the bottom. Truly a tasteless dish that I will never get again. Waitstaff was attentive when we first sat down then proceeded to have a... More

If you want an unpretentious place to have a filling Mexican meal done with panache as well as some interesting beer on tap, this is your place. Can be busy or loud but you will not leave hungry or dissatisfied. What ever your degree of adventurousness or hotness there is something for you. Fresh and tasty! Bring your friends and... More
