I never am disappointed eating here. I've come for breakfast, it was packed!!! Delicious food and plenty of it. Just recently went for lunch. I noticed that they had expanded and yet still packed! Says a lot about the food! Gluten free tortilla is available upon request. Also a vegan menu! The guacamole was excellent. Ate only 1/2 and took... More

The wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch early afternoon on a Saturday. I had never been there before and was looking forward to it. We ordered the chips and guacamole as an appetizer and found both quite good. I ordered the burrito with jerk chicken and my wife ordered the gluten free chicken quesadilla. Both were very... More

After a late movie, we looked for dining in the area and found this open and available at 1:15am. We were the only ones in the dining area with several patrons in the bar. Food was interesting, but lukewarm and clearly not at its potential. We didn't make waves as we felt like odd men out at that hour. Certainly... More

Alto Cinco is our go to place for the best mexican food around. The food is always fantastic. Be sure to try the chips & salsa and the cornbread. They also have a great rotation craft beers on draft.

.I had not had Alto Cinco in forever and now am probably not ever going to again as a result of the bad experience I had this past Friday night. I ordered two soft bean tacos and a chicken enchilada. I ordered by using Grub Hub. I got the text message my order was ready at 8:33PM. I picked it... More

My favorite Mexican restaurant .. Great little neighborhood vibe, surprisingly good wine selections, reasonably priced, excellent food. I recommend the shrimp tostada! Usually crowded but grab a cocktail and you don't mind the wait!

I'm not a big fan of Mexican Cuisine so I get their delicious Calamari. My family members, on the other hand, love Mexican Food and swear by this place. Portions are generous and my "Gringos" think the Burritos are the best.

Recently went here with a co-worker on a Friday afternoon. We ate later than the normal lunch time and arrived around 1:45pm. We were seated right away. Along with the traditional Mexican food items on the menu they offered some dishes and drinks with a specialty flair to them. We started with their chips and salsa ($5) which were very... More

My latest trip to Alto Cinco was great. We started with a delicious pizza for an appetizer. I had the Frisco burrito and it did not disappoint. It was filled with all those good for you things that make you feel soooo not guilty for eating out. They recently expanded the restaurant and we sat inside in a booth. We didn't... More

Rarely would you expect to find great Mexican cuisine anywhere but in close proximity to the southern U.S. border. Fortunately, this out of the way restaurant is the exception. Located in the trendy section of Syracuse just a short distance from the university, the selections are anything but trendy and offer a great selection of nightly specials and traditional Mexican...
