I adore pastabilities!

So as soon as I moved to Syracuse, everyone I met suggested I try Pastabilities for lunch. I was a little confused initially about the lunch setup (its cafeteria style) but I'm hooked! My dad is absolutely obsessed with their meatballs. As in when he came out to visit me from NH he insisted we go... read more

Food is good only had one not so great meal out of all my visits. Calamari is done right and obviously the dipping sauce is worth the trip. Wait times can be a bit high but only do to popularity

Some of the best Italian food you can get in the Armory Square area. Absolutely the best hot tomato oil you can get anywhere - great as an appetizer to dunk your bred in, but also with your entrée on top of your pasta (I prefer it over ravioli). You can't go wrong with this local favorite!

We always get there when they're closed from 230pm to 5pm. So we go across the street to their bakery. Great breads, love the parmesan bread, with their spicy tomato oil sauce. Very good to snack on. They have more to go foods and it's all good. No lines. We parked right on the street in front of the bakery.

Visited with 3 other couples last Saturday night. They do not take reservations so it was a long wait. They originally told us 3 hours but it ended up being less then 2. That was fine as we were at the bar having fun. Once seated service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had several apps which... More

Pastabilities was seen on "Drive-ins, Diners & Dives" and looked great. It is also rated the best Italian restaurant in Syracuse by the locals. My experience: Very busy place and was full even on a week night, but no waiting. Apparently there is a wait usually on Fri and Sat nights. Home-made pasta and other specialties. Food was very good... More

Their monthly salad left something to desire, probably would not order it again; otherwise, our other meal was very good.

We came from Rochester to have lunch here with friends that live in the area. I was excited with the menu choices, and had several dishes I wanted to try. However, somewhat disappointed after arriving at the restaurant and discovering that every dish was killed with too much garlic! Why do Americans who attempt to cook Italian assume the more... More

Most people equate Pastabilities with Italian cuisine, and while many of our menu items are based on Italian cooking traditions, we try to maintain our own unique, unconventional interpretation of those Italian classics. Regardless of the modern spin that might be given to the Italian cuisine we serve, we apologize that any aspect of your experience left you disappointed. We... More

We ate there for dinner this week. The quality of the food was excellent. I had sausage lasagna and I think it was the best lasagna i've ever had. My companions also thought their dishes were some of the best they have ever had. I would highly recommend.
