Was Hoping For More

I checked on line for Chinese restaurants in the area. This one was about a 10 minute drive from my hotel and had a very good rating. I guess I am spoiled by our "back home" restaurant. I was hoping for more but found this to be like the average Chinese restaurant. They did have a sushi bar and... read more

As far as China buffets go, I've been to much better. They just didn't do a good job. The food was either starchy, overcooked and not even very hot. The peel and eat shrimp were mushy. There was really nothing else there that was remotely appetizing. I did have the chicken, I think. The quality just wasn't there. They were... More

Is sad and disappointing that I am writing this as I am sitting here at the buffet, but I must say that I am very disgusted. As I walked in I noticed that the edges of the walls were dirty and walking in further wasn't as much pleasant at all. I tried not to pay as much mind to it... More

This buffet had your average Chinese food to choose from. It was a cheap dinner financially, which was nice. Pretty clean restaurant tooo.

We had reserved the back room for over 40 people. We had told the lady who took our reservation that people we start coming in at 8 PM, while the family will arrive at 8:30 PM. The first batch of people came at 8 PM and the area in the back was not roped off so there were other people... More

After reading the reviews here we tried this restaurant. The only good thing was the sushi chef who was curious, friendly and above excellent with his customer service skills. There were no chicken balls, fried rice had yellow food dye as did the wonton (water) soup. Fruits were left over from the weekend I'm sure. Dried out and had an... More

Easy to find/park. Lunch and dinner buffets of a great variety of fresh foods. Salad type items and desserts are included. Wait staff frequently visit your table to clear away empty plates and offer more drinks, etc. Lots of booths and tables, separate room with large windows, or eat inside with TVs on walls. Coupons in Clipper magazine. No complaints... More

The food is fresh and tasteful. The variety is exceptional. The Sushi section is remarkable. Besides the traditional Chinese options of rice, noodles, soups, and rolls, I could not believe that they served fresh salmon. To my delight, the salmon was mouth watering delicious. Overall the experience was enriching. Recommendation, choose a section towards the side division where there is... More

My BF has been raving about this restaurant since we met. So it was a definite "must-do" when we were in Syracuse last week. This place is out of the way, in an industrial area, but well worth looking for. And the lunch buffet was only $6.99 - in Ottawa, Ont. we would pay at almost twice that ! Great... More
