If your looking for an old Diner with bland food and no appeal, this is the spot for you. Despite being one pf the oldest eateries in Sylvan Beach, it is amazing to think that this place has lasted this long with such terrible food quality. It may be that most of their clientele were alive when they first opened... More

When in Sylvan Beach be sure to avoid Eddie's restaurant ! A place once known for good food does no longer exist. My husband and I were there this summer, the portions were small, restaurant was dirty, service was poor, and the prices were extremely high. We asked for raspberry ice tea and instead was given regular ice tea with... More

I had been on a plane all night and was very hungry. I was taken to Eddie's for some nourishment. I had the haddock in a marinara sauce with their homemade potato chips and about a tablespoon of very tasty cold slaw. My friend had their breaded haddock sandwich. She enjoyed the fish and the homemade potato chips. She left... More

I made the mistake of ordering the "veggie wrap". It was a wrap, FILLED with fried onions. Period. Disgusting! I sent it back and just ate my sweet potato fries (which were really good but the portion was small!) Each of my sons had a burger – they were dripping with grease. They ended up eating them with a fork... More

We when to Eddie's Labor Day evening for Dinner. There is always a wait to be seated . When we were seated a couple behind us also were seated. There were empty tables in the restaurant. After a wait a waitress stopped and took our drink order and said they were under staffed and very busy. While we were waiting... More

Dined with a group of 9. Quality of food mediocre at best. Took forever to get food from kitchen. Ravioli like rubber, sauce "burned" and served anyway. Tossed salad overflowing from small bowl making it difficult to eat, cut veggies etc. Salad dressing warm. We had to ask for knives. Server said they were "short "on knives, Not server's fault,... This is your typical diner type restaurant only larger. The menu is extensive and the food, with the exception of the soup was very good. The soup was lukewarm and that is not OK. It was delicious but too cold. The hamburgers are juicy. Their potato chips are homemade and crispy crunchy. The croutons are homemade and nicely spiced. The... More

The decor is old, the waitresses are wearing stained white whatever they had. The famous Fish dinner was bland and unappetizing. Not sure why people come back year after year. Just awful.
