I made the mistake of ordering the "veggie wrap". It was a wrap, FILLED with fried onions. Period. Disgusting! I sent it back and just ate my sweet potato fries (which were really good but the portion was small!) Each of my sons had a burger – they were dripping with grease. They ended up eating them with a fork... More

We when to Eddie's Labor Day evening for Dinner. There is always a wait to be seated . When we were seated a couple behind us also were seated. There were empty tables in the restaurant. After a wait a waitress stopped and took our drink order and said they were under staffed and very busy. While we were waiting... More

Dined with a group of 9. Quality of food mediocre at best. Took forever to get food from kitchen. Ravioli like rubber, sauce "burned" and served anyway. Tossed salad overflowing from small bowl making it difficult to eat, cut veggies etc. Salad dressing warm. We had to ask for knives. Server said they were "short "on knives, Not server's fault,... This is your typical diner type restaurant only larger. The menu is extensive and the food, with the exception of the soup was very good. The soup was lukewarm and that is not OK. It was delicious but too cold. The hamburgers are juicy. Their potato chips are homemade and crispy crunchy. The croutons are homemade and nicely spiced. The... More

The decor is old, the waitresses are wearing stained white whatever they had. The famous Fish dinner was bland and unappetizing. Not sure why people come back year after year. Just awful.

Time was, Eddie's was THE place to go at the Beach. Sadly, time and change have not been kind and what once felt like a real family place, where on-site proprietors kept a sharp eye on things and assured that everything was done well, has now slipped into that grey zone where it feels like just another business. On a... More

We moved out of state about 5 years ago and the one thing we miss is a Friday night Haddock Fish fry. Eddies has one of the best in the area! We always stop in when were home. Good service, nice owners, reliable food, and inexpensive.
