Great server

We stopped in for a bite and got the surf and turf special with two for one margaritas and it was all great. We loved the new england clam chowder and the dinner was just right. The place is very themed for the beach and its fun! Our server was wonderful and not pushy. We will be back.

First let me say that for Sylvan Beach, the atmosphere is great...it's so much like walking into a Key West restaurant/bar that you forget that the restaurant is not on the water! So if you are looking for atmosphere...this IS the place! However, I ordered the French Onion soup...the soup had an excellent flavor neither too salty or greasy like... More

On a mini vacation my family ate here for dinner. They had two for one margaritas and a surf and turf dinner. That is what we had. My toddler had a pasta dish. It was plenty of food for all of us!! The staff was very friendly and checked on us an appropriate amount of times. It was within walking... More

The atmosphere is excellent and the seating is very private. However, the quality of the food is just average and the prices are on the high side. I had chicken riggies and my husband had chicken parm. and we both said we have had better. The salad is not included with the dinner. The bread was cold and hard, it... More

Just visited and all 4 family members had a good meal with friendly service. We all chose a variety of seafood and have no complaints, but it wasn't special either. I'm not sure that for the price it will be a regular stop as you pay resort type prices, but the variety of seafood available is a plus.

My husband brought me here when we were dating in 1992. We decided to check it out now. Overall the experience wasn't bad. We ordered the calamari, they were very tasty, cooked perfectly. I had the 10 oz lobster tail and he ordered the lobster and seafood au gratin. Our entrees were very good. So overall we were pleased with... More

Food is very good. Do not get the cheap steak and lobster special as the lobster is the worst tasting lobster I have ever had. The other thing distasteful with this restaurant is the over sell their liquor special drinks. The also have a traveling agent business and are constantly trying to sell cruises in their establishment.

Stopped in for 2 for 1 margarita special. We think they forgot the tequilla. Ordered a stuffed mushroom app and received 4 small mushrooms for $10. Way overpriced, staff not friendly, spend your money at the canal view restaurant.

Food was incredible! Seafood bisque is the best we ever had! The prime rib & lobster tail "special" is a great value. Tiki bar feel with sweet & friendly staff. We will definitely come back again.

We decided to eat here mainly because of their prime rib/seafood special and we were not disappointed. I had crab with mine and the others had lobster. Good value for the money. Our drinks were delicious and our appetizers were delicious. We had steamed clams and the other couple had seafood bisque and clams casino. The restaurant decor is fun... More
